Kings vs Suns 3/29/11 Game Thread

Apologies for lack of any thing resembling a write up for this game and the last week or so. Been out of town and now the new quarter is starting up so anything not related to studies or sleep or work has been waylaid for a while.

4-1 Road Trip suddenly appears to have stymied fire Westphal talks if only for a weekend.

Will try to actually write something substantial through the course of the game.

Can you say letdown game? I have a feeling it's going to be just that, a let down. The Suns aren't good at all and we beat them the last two times but they are starting Dudley/Gortat so I just have a feeling the Kings are going to pull a stinker, not a blowout exactly but boy I hope I am wrong, do I ever.

Remember when Cisco used to be a good defender? Tonight he's managed to make it look like Grant Hill never had catastrophic injuries.

I love what cuz did right there. He's learning. Instead of putting up a weak shot off his left foot, he took an extra dribble, came to a jump stop, drop step hook.

Not really sure why Channing Frye chose tonight of all nights to suddenly remember he's 7 feet tall.

I know PW loves to match up small with small, but throwing Dally out there might help with the layup drill.

Until he develops a better midrange game, Tyreke should look to pass more when his penetration gets stopped.

Dalembert being Injured really hurts our ability to punish them on the glass like we would normally be able to do ... still though, the defense tonight has been embarrassing... It just has to be better than it is right now. They are getting easy baskets anytime they want.
