[Game] Kings vs Spurs 1/20/12

You people just multiply, don't you?

Huge win, and your first and only post is about Jimmer not getting enough love from his teammates?

We're the Sacramento Kings, not the Sacramento Jimmers.
Pretty much beat me to it. This is certainly one of the biggest oddities I've seen on a basketball forum. Just bizarre!

For any nitwit that thinks Jimmers teammates don't like him, why'd they all explode off the bench when he hit his 3?
Easy, JT told everyone if the shot goes in they stay seated while looking at the floor and don't shout in celebration. The bench looks down and discovers the usual AT&T Center bat lurking around under their seats and they explode up in fear.

That's one of the most bizarre things I've ever read on this forum, and I've seen it from more than one poster. You have to wonder what people get out of thinking up strange things. I like Jimmer but he's going through a rough transitional period, which is fine. He'll be OK but it will take time. I don't see anything to even suggest that he doesn't get along with our other players. He's a little quiet anyway, so you won't see him getting pumped up like Isaiah and high-fiving everyone.
The guy/girl was clearly being sarcastic, unlike the other half wit who said the whole team hates Jimmer.

Well there goes the idea for my first post...

Anyways, not sure where we're supposed to introduce ourselves (if at all) but it's not a big deal, I'll just say I'm 20 years old and was born in Sacramento, lived there till I was 7, then got forced into a move to Nebraska and have been here since. I always liked the Kings even though NFL is my favorite sport by far, and I remember cheering for them with Vlade (getting his Auto was very exciting for me), CWebb, Peja, Bibby, etc. Just started following the Kings again a couple years back in Reke's rookie year and have been following them more and more since then.

Aside from that completely irrelevant introduction to myself in the Spurs postgame thread, I just had a question about this game. Is there some reason that Jimmer seems to be hated on by his teammates? He just seems to get shunned by them and it irks me.

But anyways, awesome win tonight! Only got to watch the last minute or so on a stream and I'm glad I got to see the end. Excited for a good year under a new coach, hopefully our team can start to mesh a little more and I'm liking what I've seen recently in regards to spreading the ball a little more. I do want to see more out of Jimmer before I make a judgment on him, but I'm definitely hopeful. We'll see. Anyways, sorry this was the wrong place for this but I wanted to post about the game tonight and figured I might as well introduce myself too.

Ah, what a win tonight. Team ball with some great passing, DeMarcus playing at a high level and those two clutch baskets by John Salmons. If Evans was playing at this level from the start of the season he would be on the All-Star ballot for sure. And it's starting to look like coach smart was a find. You gotta love it!

Is this two wins.....did i see the team run more plays? What is going on here???? Did we just beat two quality opponents in a row??? Is there a possibility our draft picks will mature to the point where the team will be good enough with them still here??? Shocking developments a Kings team that can win on any given night......still here in Sacramento???? :D

Welcome to the board. If you only caught the end, then you didn't see the King's bench jump up and cheer Jimmer's made three. People thinking Jimmer's hated by his teammates are really trying too hard to see something that isn't really there. Jimmer's having a tough time, so far and I think he's taking it a bit hard. I think he'll figure things out and start getting shots to fall. As a Kings fan, I have a vested interest in seeing him do well. His teammates do, too.

I'm impressed with Coach Smart so far and he sure is animated and talkative. The team is starting to look and play better under him. They're starting to look more like a team, instead of just a bunch of individuals.

And tonight, I'm ecstatic with this win. They held it together at the end and beat a quality team on the road. If they want to do that some more, I'll take it. :)

You obviously didn't watch the game. Open your damn eyes.

Sorry if I was paying more attention to the game and the team in general rather than how much high-fiving or *** kissing the other guys should be giving Fredette when he congratulates them.

Kings cheered his three. There were guys like JT actually yelling out advice to players and encouraging from the bench the whole game. Smart is up and active. The coaches stick up for their guys, even if it means getting a T like B-Jax.

Crawl back under your bridge.
