Sounds like the team still hasn't learned how to defend 3 point shooters...

...or anybody else for that matter.

This game reminds me alot of last years Kings... not good. Way to many 3 pointers being scored... Channing Frye 5-6 from 3 says it all...

Come on Suns! Make it 150!

Least then we will have a no-place but up philosophy next game + maybe get embarrassed.

A few thoughts. Its the preseason. We all knew the Kings would still suck. 50 points off of freethrows is incredible, all the players must be pretty well rested after standing around for all those freethrows.

Kevin Martin for Andre Iguodala?

Soooooo...let get this straight(and yes, I know its only pre-season)but the Kings outrebounded the Suns, got more assists than the Suns, made 8 more FG's than the Suns...but still end up losing by almost 20?? Yeah, that's GREAT officiating!

% is what matters when teams are taking 20+ threes per game. The Kings were the worst team last season in 3PT% allowed.

I'm not denying that. I'm just saying our team likes to leave players open on the 3 pt line alot... and thats why they take 20+ a game. I don't like it when I see the opposing team jacking up 3pt's at will.

Wouldn't solve anything. Were going to have to find a way to pick up an Iguodala without giving up anybody that is valuable to our team. Or at least make a package that sends the majority of the talent to our team. Swapping star players just isn't going to make enough of a difference.

I know our defense is a problem, but getting to the line 60 f***ing times is a joke. I don't need to watch the game to know that these refs are clowns.

What I don't understand is when only one or two players are continuously burning them, why they continue to leave them open. I didn't watch the game, but it sounded like nobody was keeping a close body on Dragic, who is known for his shooting ability. And when he's hitting, it's inexcusable to leave him.

yea i know there really is nothing our guys could do either i think any ways
b/c they were getting at the line so often and we go to the line just a few times.

lol id do iggy for martin in a heartbeat.
Iggy better passer, defender, ball handler, rebounder and dunker.
Martin is superior at scoring..

Kevin Martin for Andre Iguodala?

Hey, from what I could tell Kevin won his matchup.*

*Although I am assuming that like last year we hid him off on the weaker offensive player (Hill) and that it was Mason impeding Jrich.

Meanwhile somebody up front allowed Channing bleeping Frye to nothch 29/30 pts. And somebody else up front opened their mouth before the game about going at Amare and fouling him out, and then ended up getting fouled out himself instead.

Yes, but it wouldn't make our team much better. Add Iggy as a SF and keep Martin... thats what I'm talking about! Thats what we need to use Kenny's contract for... a fringe star SF like Gay and Iggy.

Haha, I called that one in the second post of the thread. JT got a humbling alright. :p
To be fair, these refs are effin atrocious. Worse than the real refs even!

How about that Omri though? Our SF rotation may have gotten a bit of a shakeup tonight. Every 3pt shot Casspi made was like a nail in Greene's coffin!

We dont need a SF right now anyways. From what im.. reading and hearing.... omris looking like our SF:D
Our problems lay at our C position, especially with Thompsons foul problems.. We need to go after a young big this year so he can gel with the squad. I dont feel like waiting till next years draft for one. It would be nice to have Greg Monroe tho.
