Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Before you we have the newest, greatest ever, most monstrous monster of the paint: Jason Thompson!
Can we have a round of applause? An immense showing of gratitude for the young man's incredible display of heart and hustle?
It would be difficult to be happier with the performance. 20/20 and 5 is an awesome line no matter the opponent. I was squashed in my critique attempt in the Kings Vs. Warriors thread, and after some reflection I became satisfied, given that he ran over everyone on that team except Richardson (who can be nasty.) So, I'll just give the devil here some credit.
Also, much praise has been heaped upon our young prodigy, Evans. It seems as though he has been upgraded to Lebron status by at least one coach: Don Nelson, quoted in The Bee as saying that 'Reke could play any position 1 through 4.
It's called "Nellyball" for a reason folks.

Next up: Phoenix. A team in ruin, on the decline, easing in to rebuild mode. They still have Nash and Amare, but they are left with nothing of real substance after their last two offseason explosions. I believe it is a safe bet to say that we have a fair shot at winning. Let's see how Evans and Thompson match up with Nash and Amare (assuming they both play.) This will be intriguing.

Not being able to see the games is killing me. Has our defense improved as much as the paper implies? Has Martin altered the yellow hue of his belly? Is this coach someone who demands respect? I want to see the little nooks and crannies in this shamble, I want to see it all come together. I must watch the freakin' game! Damn this economy!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, awards go to:
JHA: No one really, our coach used an acceptable rotation that resulted in everyone who needed minutes getting them.
TDM: Oh, Mikki. If you would have just scored a single basket this could have been yours; but Corey Maggette dropped 28 on us and grabbed 7 boards, so this one goes to Corey.
LW-VC: Andris Beidrins. Dude let me down, big time. I like to watch the guy play, but he sucked. A lot.
RA&1: Couldn't see the game, so I ask the fans: who should win this?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
And now our Kings travel off to Phoenix. Let's keep it up and get another confidence inspiring win, okay fellas?
