I've had the same thoughts. I don't understand it. It's not like Mitchell is a high usage guy who dominates the ball. And Fox also doesn't dominate the ball except at times in the 4th. Fox is tall enough to guard a lot of SGs leaving Mitchell to guard the smaller point guards. So why can't it work? This is starting to remind me of the Halliburton-Fox backcourt that had people scratching their heads why Halliburton wasn't more aggressive offensively.

Yeah the difference is I think you can work Davion better with Fox because of the defense. You put him on the best offensive guard and he's more than comfortable in a secondary ball-handler/passer role on offense. And really, the few times we've seen the Fox/Davion back-court in crunch time, it's been awesome seeing them fly around on defense with the ball pressure. Hali developed out of his "super role player" role that he had his rookie year and it just became him and Fox taking turns on offense. They stopped complimenting each other and playing with each other.

Btw, I think that's a big reason why Fox/Domas have been so dominant offensively. Domas has fully bought in to working off of Fox and getting him (and the rest of the team) great looks. He's perfectly fine taking 8 shots a game while we go score 130. I mean, how many interviews has Domas said that he tells Fox "Hey, it's the 4th, you need to get going. I'm going to get you open". Insane mentality from a 3-time all-star.

I tried to listen to his pod over the summer and he was just so consistently negative and it's clear it was personal because Monte likes to run a tight ship, it really bothered me. And yeah, the ego of it all. It is really off putting to me.

Hopefully, they beat the Knicks with Fox too. Last time they play and lost to the Knicks without Fox.

I don't think he's ready to contribute to a winning team right now, but he could be a really nice piece 2-3 years from now.

I wouldn't mind Herb Jones if he can get his 3pt % back to being respectable. He'd be a great piece for this team. Trey Murphy reminds me of the SG version of Keegan, but a better shooter overall despite his lower 3pt %. I wouldn't mind trading our 1st for either player.

People tune into Coward because he’s a first class troll. That’s his shtik. And he knows it. And gets rich from it. More power to him.

However, IMO those that actually know and follow sports religiously and aren’t into hot takes and drama stay far away from the likes of Coward and Stephen A.

It’s one among many reasons the majority don’t take him seriously in this era of “anyone can have a podcast and call themselves a journalist“.

That dude is just a glorified fan with lots of bad takes and “confirmations”.

Hopefully our KINGS expose the Suns defense more than they expose ours.

I still believe the Suns to be a soft, overrated team. Of course they got dudes that can score. But they’re all wanna be tough guys with uber thin skin.

They lost most their depth and good wings in the trade. And their defense.

Run at them hard for 48 minutes and use all your depth. Wear their aging scorers out.

And I was just as worried come halftime.

Luckily our KINGS decided to take care of business. That, AND the Pels didn't hit every single open shot each time they got 'em. ;)

This is a game the KINGS really needed to get and they did.

Now, hopefully they can go out and take the Knicks down a peg on Thursday.

If they can manage to win 2 of the next 3 -- I believe most of us would be extremely satisfied with that.

However, if they go 1-2 or 0-3, they must go at least 3 and 1 on the next roadie.

Coming back home to BOS, PHX and Utah sure ain't fun.

The different pieces are starting to come together at the right time. I like how it's looking, and regardless of outcome, I'm feeling like they're trending upwards. That said, I'll take every win we can get and not worry about projecting through the next group of games, and I'm guessing Brown has them approaching each upcoming game with an elimination style mentality. We know the standings and how close everyone is in the west, and you bet your ass they do too. Taking care of NOP without Fox was a big deal. I'm glad to see them put the clamps on someone again.

I see different interpretation. DF was not in the game, the primary ball handler. Thus everybody pitched in with moving the ball.

Another thing - do you guys got bored with Domas tripple-doubles already? Shame on you :) He has 8. Darling of the darlings of the NBA (but the real one) Luka has 10. Let's travel to the ifs land. Domas has the most 6 fouls "sit on the bench" - refs events this season in NBA. IF, if, if, Domas wouldn't have to adjust his games because he has to avoid for his average 3+ phantom fouls per game, iffffff refs would call at least 33% more fouls on guys who actually foul Domas - he would have more trippe-doubles than Luka by now. Just saying. Oh, and Domas would average good 3-5+ points per game more because of the free throws we would shoot.
After Domas made his first All-Star appearance in Indy, for something like 7 games refs were whistling properly. That resulted in Domas' going to the free throw line like on average ~10 times per game. After that stint refs were informed by the Silver that enough is enough, and reffing on Domas got back on the predestined track. Maybe some pharmaceutical company saw the decline in the sales of antidepressants in Indiana and contacted NBA about that matter. Sales are everything in the NBA.
 
Good win after getting smacked in the mouth the last time by the Pels. I thought their length and athleticism would be the same problem it was in the last game but the Kings made good adjustments and just destroyed them in the 2nd half.

Nice to have a coach that doesn't get outcoached every single game.

One great thing about Brown is the adjustment. When playing the same team the second time, he always seem to make adjustment. Feel like we have not gotten sweep by any club this season outside of hawk

It would be very impressive to go 3:2 in this particular stretch. Actually even 2:3 would be fine as long as that second win is against Suns

Kings are a top 5 team in third quarter point differential overall. If it doesn’t seem like they are it’s because they are a pretty middle of the road third quarter team at home. #18

They are the #1 third quarter team on the road.
