Big question is how do you channel this Davion through his bench role and how do you find ways to get him and Fox on the court together? I kind of had this thought last year, but he's almost like that RB who gets better throughout the game once he gets more touches. Maybe just a guy who takes some time to get in the groove of the game?

With TD starting to fall out a bit, I hope we experiment with more Huerter at the 3 and Davion at the 2, taking the best guard defender while we "hide" Fox. Or hell, go with the real 3-guard explosive LU in Fox-Davion-Monk, which we haven't really seen this year.

The Suns game is the big game.....they can lose to the Knicks and Bucks Beat the Suns, and maintain their position for at least awhile longer.
This game was a revenge game. The Kings got punked last time without Fox and they showed that the next man up as @Caccia said did exactly that and stood up. The Suns are now a different beast entirely. They are the new benchmark, period. Bust the Suns out and the whole NBA is going to turn their head.

Heurter, Lyles and Mitchell - players of the game. Sabonis is in there too but he's in there every game it seems.

Again, we see Mitchell be very effective given the minutes.

Brown should his Coach of the Year chops with his defensive adjustments.
Mitchell was a pretty impressive collegiate player I recall......he had one of his best games of the season today.

I forgot all about the Daniels obsession. He really made those 12 minutes pop. lol
I actually agreed with him on Daniels haha. I think he's going to be an awesome player, just a bit stuck behind all these guards/wings NOP currently has.

I do hope NOP really bottoms out and they maybe go sell this off-season. Using our FRP on one of their wings (Murphy, Herb Jones? Daniels?) would be an excellent use of the pick if they just try and reset things.

Mike Brown is the coach of the year and Fox's injuries as a pathway to the resurgence of Huerter and Davion just sealed it. It's over, just start getting that plate printed, haha. Put them wherever, they're back.

he was their defensive stopper even over Jones prior to his injury. I barely noticed he was out there tonight though.

Maybe cart before the horse here, but do you think Brown will actually cut it down to an 8-man rotation in the playoffs? I think if he's willing to be flexible with Huerter down to the 3, you can make Davion/Monk/Lyles work fairly easy as your rotation. I did think TD was in that grouping, but man has he regressed post-all star break. He's been bad. And Metu remains just as inconsistent as he's ever been.

At some point Mike Brown needs to abandon our wing defenders sinking down and helping. It’s almost ridiculous at this point. We trade wide open 3s for slightly contested 2s… what NBA team wouldn’t kick it out?
Is Huerter DPOG? Davion? Keegan was doing great with deflections and I thought he did the best of anyone guarding BI.
I hope it's Keegan

I think it will depend on need but I do think with his history, Brown will do what he has to. 8 man or not, Davion and KVon showing up when needed is one of those big things that make it to where you might have more options come playoff time. And that might even be with a return to normal after this game. This was a pressure test and they passed with flying colors.

Wasn't really much of a Daniels fan in the draft, but I think he's looking a bit more raw than most people projected. Too passive despite getting possessions as their lead ball handler. I don't think he's ready to contribute to a winning team right now, but he could be a really nice piece 2-3 years from now.

I wouldn't mind Herb Jones if he can get his 3pt % back to being respectable. He'd be a great piece for this team. Trey Murphy reminds me of the SG version of Keegan, but a better shooter overall despite his lower 3pt %. I wouldn't mind trading our 1st for either player.

I've had the same thoughts. I don't understand it. It's not like Mitchell is a high usage guy who dominates the ball. And Fox also doesn't dominate the ball except at times in the 4th. Fox is tall enough to guard a lot of SGs leaving Mitchell to guard the smaller point guards. So why can't it work? This is starting to remind me of the Halliburton-Fox backcourt that had people scratching their heads why Halliburton wasn't more aggressive offensively.

Despite being despised on this forum I don’t mind listening to him. I disagree with more of his takes than I agree with but I still find myself tuning in to his pod or on DLo and KC. Also his peers seem to like him. He reminds me of Cowherd in the sense that he is a bit full of himself and has strong opinions but yet people still tune in.
