RE: Free Throws
I said it several games ago and I'll say it again. Missed free throws are on the coaching technique and not on the player.
If a player misses a free throw in practice then the whole team run sprints. This develops tension, guilt, negativity, and remorse regarding free throws. A good free throw shooter is relaxed and smooth with a clear mind and without a thought of repercussions for a miss.
Coach Brown needs to lighten up on the punishment aspect of free throw practice and let players monitor their own performance. All of the Kings players try hard on free throws. There is no reason to work with their head when it should be clear of negative thoughts.
