Doug even knows how to get a players feet wet. He put Queta in there when the minute mattered but not enough to F up the game for him or the team. Nice.

Teams will eventually take away passing lanes and take the easy pass away. Now is where they have to figure out who is going to get them buckets in the half court.

They didn't turn the ball over 11 times in the quarter because of "passing lanes."

I'll take a two-point deficit. You figured it was going to be rough with the turnovers with all the new guys and fewer ball handlers.

Those who are familiar with NM State, they have been banking on having these foreign huge guys for a few years by now huh?

Wasn't Sim Buhlar from NM State too?

Considering we're missing half the roster, the fact that we blew a 15 point lead and are now down two at half doesn't seem so bad

Not mad in the slightest. These guys are out there working hard and competing on the defensive end and Hali is working the ball around beautifully. We're at a severe talent deficiency, so a big run like that is expected.

well numerically you're correct I would point out that I never expected Memphis to not go on a run and we all knew once starters had to sit we were going to have some issues.... But yeah no complaints here.

Yea. They turned the ball over because clumsiness

LOL. this is a team that hasn't even hardly played together let alone some of the players they have out there. The Grizz eventually forced their defense up in the passing lanes especially in those transition opportunities and the Kings fumbled out of lack of cohesion. Clumsiness? Eh. Partly because of a lack of chemistry has to be the benefit of the doubt. Tyrese made a couple of a horrible turnovers but again, he was trying to make the right plays.

Sooooo are we giving up Woodard? Is he not close to being NBA ready?

Somehow, the forward position is like the one area of the team that wasn't hit by COVID so Barnes, Metu, and Harkless are playing all the minutes and leaving Woodard on the outside looking in lol
