Oh good, we get to hear from Lance Woods. How the hell did this dude work his way on the telecast
I disagree with this statement. Have you not been watching the last couple games? Sure Keons shot hasn't been falling tonight, but He isn't in there for his shot.
I’m never going to write off any player (even Duarte), but I’d like to see brown give Keon 10 games as the backup pg to see how it goes.Davion also has a skill that Keon doesn't have and that's elite ball handling and an elite first step.
Davion was doing fine hitting set shots too which I guess we need a bigger sample size for Keon.
So I wouldn't call offense a wash at least in terms of potential but I might be wrong.
On defense we have a large sample size on Davion and although I think Keon has been great, I don't think it's fair to write off a guy who everyone knows is a stud on defense.
If Klay Thompson hadn't hit that shot over him I doubt people would be talking all that much about players just shooting right over him.
Just saying that I don't think Keon is better than Davion, if anything they're equal right now therefore I don't think leaving Davion completely out of the rotation for Ellis would be fair.
Mike Brown pulled a chairman move and named himself DPOG (it was his 400th career win as a head coach)

It’s hilarious over on a RIP City forum (maybe reddit) they were talking about Kris’s potential and said “he’s a definite downgrade over Keegan and Keegan is mid” lol.
Reminds me when we went to the game last year and when we were taking it all in after that guy came up and asked “why were you all cheering so much for Keegan Murray?”
lol

I think Ivey will be a really good player. It’s tough to judge when he’s not starting now that Cade is back healthy. You simply can’t play both of them at the same time as they both demand the ball (unlike when we had Tyrese and Fox starting). Not sure what Detroit does, but they should consider trading him. He averages 11pts in 19 mins, and that’s with much improved % across the board… 49% FG, 37% 3pt FG.I was all in on Murray after the draft, but must admit I was buying into the Ivey hype during the draft. Thank god I’m not the GM.
Gotta say that the "Jaden Ivey has more star potential than Keegan Murray" takes have aged poorly
A lot of people don't realize.

I mean, I don't want to go through everything again with Davion, but the Kings have been flat out atrocious with him on the floor this season. On both sides of the ball. Of course that's heavily weighted with the 2 bad HOU games, but those still count no?
Meanwhile, the Kings D has been 9.6 points better on D with Keon on the floor in 69 minutes this season (before tonight, we'll see after it updates). While the offense has stayed neutral.
To me, that matches the eye test. Keon has been incredibly good on defense and incredibly disruptive at creating TOV with his elite hands. And offensively he stays out of the way. Will he continue that is a question of course, but I'm not gifting Davion his minutes back when Keon is outplaying him in a huge way.

I just think the seasons young and its not right to write off Davion.
Just think people are overreacting about him (I've seen seen some stuff on twitter about him that doesn't seem warranted) so I don't want people to get delusional and forget about what he can bring to the team.
Just remember that we don't win that Portland game without Davion but again, I think it's neutral if anything but I'm fine with riding the hot hand for now.
It's kind of funny that our odds are the worst in the division by FAR yet there are so many crappy teams. It's almost as if the idiot GMs out there think that if they land an all-star player that they will be able to fit in with what they have already. I am looking at you Clippers. A starting lineup of Harden, Westbrook, George, Leonard, and Zubac look pretty dang good on paper, but what a freaking mess this team is. All these pieces that don't fit in the slightest, yet some NBA people on the NBA channel or ESPN (or online media) think that adding old players who don't fit with other old players will make their team good or something. On paper the Clippers starting lineup look like world beaters, but there is only one ball to go around, and all these prima donnas feel the need to play a bunch of one on one ball.

It's really hard to say anything negative above Davion because he's such a high character guy. So I won't say anything more
Klay hit that shot over Davion for the exact reason it would have been 10x harder to hit over Ellis. 4 inches.Davion also has a skill that Keon doesn't have and that's elite ball handling and an elite first step.

Davion should be upset. He worked hard all summer long and didn't grow or get longer. And he didn't improve either. Poor guy.Between Coach and Davion. I think i saw some friction after the game. They shook hands, but no smiles.
