Well hey, we went toe to toe with one of the best. And we could easily have won the game if a few plays went a different way. Lets continue to build on this.

Well, the potential is there. Some roster improvement is needed long term on the wing, but overall the issue is not running what works until the wheels fall off. Fox is great but the iso spread became predictable and Rivers eventually landed the knock out blow to Luke by the end.

I don't anticipate our guys missing this many threes at a time on a regular basis so at least there's that.

Milton on pick and roll was a big problem. He was impressive. Thybulle is a solid role guy too.

Thybulle defended De'Aaron better than Kawhi, Ben Simmons, Lonzo Ball, Eric Bledsoe, and Jimmy Butler combined. The dude's D is good. (Just don't ask him to play offense)

when a fanbase is so starved of winning and being relevant again as the Kings are, every little glimmer of hope and a bit of winning can take you to a high only for that high to completely make you feel empathy and not fall for it again so it's about finding a fine line in not getting too high on this team because as you mentioned, this may be just early season luck or whatever else you want to call it

It's not a fluke but they (LUKE) has to tighten up those late game play calls. You want to force Embiid up with middle pick and roll. Instead they spread iso'd and let him watch the ball and wait which allowed their wings to challenge shots from behind on drives.

At the same time, I am fairly certain that De'Aaron and Tyrese are not flukes so I don't anticipate the lows being as low as they have been in the past.

In time Marvin is the most likely one to balance that out. He's not getting anything called for him yet, but he will as long as he keeps using his athleticism.

Yeh Fox in particular looked gassed at the end. His shot got a bit wonky too and probably a direct result of that fatigue. He was guarded well too of course

the Nets did lose to the 5 win Pistons team today so there is a chance, albeit the scoring may be something you see from a NBA Jam game
