There's so much truth in that article..
They’re good enough on paper to make it—when else are you gonna have the benefit of injuries to Anthony Davis, Eric Bledsoe, and almost every member of the Jazz?

This is why that Blazers loss hurt. The West is wide open for us...and it feels like the Kings don't want it.

Blazers knock down 3's and we don't defend the perimeter at all.

Which is probably the most frustrating element to this team's approach so far this season. Everyone can see the uncontested 3 coming from a mile a way. Everyone other than the Kings of course. Yes we have some bad defenders but this is just carelessness and not trying to adapt. You don't need to be Gary Payton to know a guy can shoot and that you probably should stay within 5 feet of the guy. I just don't get it.

I hope we can take away the Sixers' 3s this game.. it shouldn't be hard since their guys are shooting like poo.

Guy called into the morning show going over just how screwed we are and how we have mortgaged our future for this year. Seeing it in writing in that dead spin article just made me so sad.
 
I'm usually great at predictions, so here it goes: we play a super smallball line-up with 3 guards at all times at a breakneck pace with zero defense. Cousins runs up and down the court raining in threes and dribble driving from the perimeter. He ends up notching an astounding 94 points. We lose by 8. Everyone demands Cousins be traded.
 
Big time trap game, especially for us. Ish smith has them playing good ball, and they are rejuvenated with him at the helm. We're obviously vastly superior talent and they don't have a prayer of answering Cousins normally.
 
This is where it would be nice to have more leadership from the bench than a head coach reduced to whisper. A strong coaching staff could say Cousins "Look, I am going to defend you when a bad call is made. Ignore the refs. No more. No more wasted energy venting to a brick wall. Let me argue on your behalf."

"Let's try an experiment for the next 10 games and see if your energy is more constructively directed when you spend none of it venting in words or distorted facial expression to the refs". This is what needs to be done but this coaching staff doesn't have the temerity to get in Cousins face and put this kid in check. Or if they do he doesn't have the good sense to listen.
 
Basketball? Yes. Drama? No thanks...

Let's just have a night where it's all about the game.

Even the coaching staff can get in Cousins face, he has one answer "I'm lost". This whole thing is going nowhere, the coaching staff needs to be changed soon, not in mid or end of the season.
 
We just gave up 20 3 pointers.....the only way 76ers win this game is they can knock down their open 3s and they will get those and we turn it over. George is going to go small again because they want to run and run fast. Please don't **** this up George.
 
Just keep feeding Cousins in the post until they make a lineup change
