I hope each of you had a joyous Christmas. While I didn't get snow for Christmas Eve, it appears that should be rectified before morning. The temperature is plummeting and it's being predicted that I could have a foot of snow by tomorrow afternoon... No worries. I have a nice supply of firewood and no important places to be so I'm in good shape.

Okay, as is usual I have my favorite beverage(s) chilling in the refrigerator. I actually have some Egg Nog to compliment my usual Dt. Pepsi Vanilla (and no, I'm not planning on combining the two...) I washed the purple slippers, the lucky socks and my Christie jersey to make sure no traces of the loss are lingering. My various totems have also been taken down and washed. I've done everything I can - the rest is up to the team.
Just a reminder: If you want to chip in during the PBP with a quick POSITIVE comment, no problem. If, however, you want to post ongoing discussions about the game, negative comments, etc. please use the regular game-time discussion thread. I do this PBP for the Kings fans who cannot see the game on their own. I enjoy doing it. All I ask in return is that my positive attitude not be put to the test by a lot of negative or snide comments, etc. It's just a request for the PBP thread. If I get too caught up in trying to respond to those comments, then I'm not doing the PBP and the real losers in the situation are the poor fans who wanted to follow the game via Kingsfans.com
Still a few hours until game time. Make sure you have everything you need to settle down and enjoy the game. IF you're participating in the prediction game, make sure you get your predictions in BEFORE 6 P.M.
