His defense is fairly and consistently poor. Yes he has poor quickness, and a lack of strength too.

that's the biggest thing I notice...he has no balance when defending. He is always on his heels.

I’m not sure that his lack of quickness and inability to move his feet isn’t due to poor fundamentals in his defensive stance. His chest seems way too far forward over his feet.

If he isn't providing shooting, he is useless to be honest. Might be harsh but that's where he stands right now until or if he develops a game other than jumpshooting. May be time to take him out soon. We know Malachi won't return so that's not an option.

He makes some effort on rebounding, but....anyway...this may be a wire game

This is why I have always said his position will be at the 5. Too slow laterally to cover forwards. Looks better with Willie because Willie laterally is a cheetah.
