i may be crazy and i cant believe im saying this but I want jimmer in there with starting group...just for more floor spacing! he cant be worst than vasquez on defense...and vasquez's turnovers were pretty bad....they were really clamping down early and often every time cuz got the ball...so maybe with jimmer out there spacing the floor..it may help? and i only say jimmer instead of IT because im loving IT as the sixth man...or maybe im just crazy and will shut up now.(START BEN MCLEMORE)... jimmer/mclemore/salmons/Lmam/cousins...

If they want to win games, they'll obviously start Jimmer at PG. However, it looks like the tank is in.
That's not a good starting lineup. It needs another ball handler, especially with Jimmer out there. I would suggest Vasquez. I also think it would be better to start JT over Luc since JT is probably a better rim protecter, and you have a chance to win the opening tip with JT jumping.

Nope. Jimmer has improved his handle dramatically. That myth/lie would be put to bed if Malone used his good sense and balls.
Still needs a 2nd ball handler. Don't be mad. Steph Curry is a great ball handler, but the Warriors still thought it was a good idea to put Iguodala in the lineup with him. Malone is obv trying that with Vasquez and Salmons, but Salmons is trash.

Yeah, but he sucks, and that change takes Ben out of the starting lineup. I like Jimmer / Ben / GV / Cousins / JT. It has 2 ball handlers who look to pass, 3 shooters, 2 good rebounders (3 if you count Ben), and a rim protector (JT is allowing 27 FG% at the rim.)

Smart & Exum are PGs, the team already have Vasquez, Thomas & Fredette. Maybe Cauley-Stein will fit in the team.
We didn't exted Vasquez or Jimmer. Thomas is best in a 6th man row. I don't think for a second we would hesitate to draft a starting PG if he fit with out team. I don't know much about Smart and Exum but if they could defend, penetrate, create their own shot and hit the open man we very well could draft one of them.
I am curious about this. What is the situation with Luc?

Wow. Marcus Smart is a pest on d (capable of going off for 5 steals a night), rebounds like a forward, passes the ball extremely well (his best attribute), has been compared to James Harden for his ability to attack the paint (although this is a reach). I dunno why you think he's a gunner. He's a large powerful versatile PG that does everything. Has only played PG for 2 years yet was set to be drafted number 1 overall last year. Potential is insane.

From the little I've seen on choppy streams, starting IT/MLM in the backcourt would be the best solution at this point. Better defensive pairing and much more of an offensive presence. More dynamic on both ends.
I'd say you can't possibly be serious and you're joking, but I can't tell with some posts I'm reading around here. Sad state of affairs this early in the season some of the crap I'm reading in these threads.

Pretty much this, I know it's 4 games but Vasquez playmaking does not make up for everything else and his playmaking has been so so to be fair and he puts zero pressure on the opposition PG's to make them think about anything. Plus I don't see the point of him starting when Cousins in the last two games has taken a lot of long 2's, the whole point of Vasquez was to get Cousins better shots but Cousins is drifting out again making Vasquez pointless. Cousins is doing the same thing he was last season with Thomas as the PG and if he continues the Vasquez sign/trade becomes useless.

If thats true, then he's a gunner that can't shoot. The jury is still way out for me on Smart. Right now he's more of a combo guard. He's an average to slightly above average athlete. If he can improve his outside shot, then I'll change my position. Exum is a player that played PG for the Aussies, but is capable of playing Sg or SF as well. Terrific athlete, passer, good shooter, and outstanding BBIQ. He's definitely a top 5 player in the draft, and maybe top three. Oh, and I left out, he's a terrific defender.
