As a result, All-NBA center Domantas Sabonis is not a guarentee to be in Sacramento long-term. “Many around the league are preparing for the possibility of the Kings becoming big sellers ahead of the 2026 NBA trade deadline next February, which would likely result in Sabonis requesting a trade should a clear direction not present itself.”

OK, first off, we CAN'T S&T LaRavia to a 3/$33M contract (as everybody around here knows and laments already). So that makes this specific artificial stupidity trade a no-go from the start.

But yes, there are probably much better deals out there than Scoot/#22/one more pick for Domas - IF we were open to trading him. Even the article says we're basically not.
