SLAB - The only way he can be effective is if he isn't given the opportunity to outthink himself. On that last possession, he stood on the weak side totally alone and not of the Grizzlies gave him a second thought. That's not a good thing for a SHOOTING GUARD.

u know even if he was a good consistent offensive player... he's defense is so horrendous he still is a huge negative.

Starting outside and working inside keeps the defense from swarming on him all game. It's worked pretty well in multiple games so far.
