[Game] Kings @ Thunder - 4/15/13

Aw c'mon you KNOW Outlaw and Aldrich especially have seen more court time in the past two games and arguably Douglas as well. And yes I am aware Smart has put some serious weird junk out there all season long.

OK, we all know Smart sucks, but he does seem to be intentionally giving the guys that will need jobs nest season PT, so that GM will have something to evaluate them with... sorta nice of him. Seriously.

Smart is a friend of the little guy. I'd prefer he did something to help our team, since that is his job and everything. You're probably right though and it's actually one of the reasons why he's not a good head coach. He spends so much time trying to make everybody feel comfortable that he ends up neglecting the players who give us the best chance to win. He allowed James Johnson to force shots again and again in the first half of the season and he continues to ride IT often to the detriment of the team. Probably a good guy to have as an assistant coach, but his "everybody gets to play" approach to managing rotations is just impractical for building a winning team at this level.

Speaking of bench scrubs, can we trade with OKC? It's not fair that a team this good has managed to stockpile more young talent than we have with our 5 straight seasons of high lottery picks.

One good thing about this loss? We just guaranteed that the Lakers will have to face the Thunder in the first round. That makes me smile.

GP is a crap drafter. I read an article years ago about how most of the great draft picks Petrie gets credited with were actually championed by one of our scouts. I imagine the Magoofs let him go as a cost cutting measure years ago.

On the topic of draft picks....I was hoping we'd go Henson this past year, he has been starting for the Bucks lately and is killing it. Rebounds, steals, blocks...Had a 25reb/7blk game last week. I know, I know...I'm going OT..Its just Jimmer over Leonard all over again! :p

in the kings vs spurs game thread i said tyreke was going to get hurt eventually, since all he does is drive and only takes threes. well hope hes ok.

Oh geez. Your posts are without a doubt some of the most useless drivel I've seen on this board in the entire time I've been a moderator. And yes, I know that's worthy of an infraction but sometimes things just have to be said.

He's enjoying the troll-role way too much now.

actually if the Lakers beat the Rockets tomorrow they jump to 7th and Houston will be 8th and play OKC

how exactly is that trolling? tyreke needs to develope his game or hes going to get seriously hurt, worse than this.all the usage on his knees are bad.

with dim logic like that believe me you should really embrace the troll label. At least then you could say it was all planned.

BTW, exactly 4 "littles" have gotten to the rim more often than Reke (6.1 FGA at rim/game) this year, all with vastly higher usage rates of course. Nonetheless using your logic LeBron (7.0 FGA at rim/game), Westbrook (6.6) Melo (6.2) and Wade (6.1) all really need to stop attacking the rim because after all its dangerous. So does Harden (5.8) for that matter.

Alternately that list makes a pretty damn good set of the most aggressive and punishing offensive little guys in the game, each of whom has had his/her position cleared out, who is featured, and who has led his teams to the playoffs. And amazingly they are all still kicking despite playing 35+min every night.
