SLAB

Hall of Famer
That was probably technically an offensive foul, but the difference between Lyles bumping a dude, and that other guy throwing forearms directly into our guy was pretty glaring.

So we played 6 minutes without Domas on the floor, looked like crap, and were -9 during that stretch. Maybe just, I don't know, PLAY YOUR ALL-STAR WITH 4 FOULS IF YOUR OTHER ALL-STAR IS OUT?

I don't know. Maybe I'm dumb. But 4 is 2 less than 6. And that's 6 minutes we won't get back.

The problem is you're replacing Fox in this back-up LU... with Delly. Just horrid LU management from Brown, I don't get why he thinks this grouping would work.

Monk
TD
PJ or Kessler

At least get some real defensive pressure on the other end. Delly can't create, can't penetrate and gets picked on defensively.
Without Domas or Fox this team has to give in either work post play into the F's or run pick and roll on a steady diet. TD has no showed this game and Monk hasn't done much yet either.

Brown is certainly testing his bench guys. Remember, he's thinking playoffs, not season. Which isn't a bad idea long term but it doesn't take a genius to know that this team without Fox and Domas might be top 5 potential?

Yeah. Such a bad habit coaches have. Fouling out your players before they foul out.

I mean, I guess but what team does that not apply to?

Take Giannis and Jrue off MIL
Take Jokic and Murray off Den
Take Kawhi and PG off LAC

etc

This OKC team sucks and if we chose to rest Fox instead of just use him sparingly we are dumb.

If he really couldn't go I hope he gets well quickly.
