I will be completely okay with a loss today, as long as we don't get blown out.

The Kings haven't won a game in Phoenix since November of 2005, so I'm praying for the best and getting ready for the worst

I expect Tyreke to run circles around Nash

I expect the kings to fall in the Sun's trap of running and taking the first open shot

We always do.

Oddly though I amost see more hope for this young group to avoid it than some of the veteran crews of years past. Counterintuitive, but best way I can explain it is I that I think these guys are really committed to doing whatever it takes to win. So because they are young they will fall into the trap, but when Westphal calls them over and says slow it down, play in control, I think they'll actually try to do it. Our veteran squads of recent years were all too happy to take the easy way out on any given night, maybe pad some stats, shrug when we came up short.

He is averaging 12.9 pts and 5.8 rbs a game. Dare I point out that he is shooting 46.8% from 3pt range (51 of 109). That is almost 6 attempts per game (and we thought Hawes was taking too many at almost 2 attempts a game).
i never realized his % was that high, i just looked it up and thats 11th in the league

I'll be satisfied with heart and hustle and no quit. If we manage to also have more points at the end of the game than the Suns, I'll be very, very happy.

GO KINGS!!!

I have one observation:

If watching this young Kings team of ours play doesn't renew your love of basketball, you never had it to begin with...

I can tell the Refereeing will be "home cooked" tonight
I'm not gonna buy into that quite yet. If the Suns get the calls, it could also be because they're seasoned vets...

OT? Could you please take the picture out of your signature? It's really unnerving... and so yesterday's news. ;)

Good to see Noc back on the court. He's tough.

Such a very sweet take by Havoc there. I'm not happy to see the lack of ball movement early, and I expect Westphal to pull these guys by the collar during the break and get them to play their slower paced (relative to the Suns anyway) passing game.

And someone (looks like Evans from the last take) needs to impose their will on this game and steady the team.

Would you rather I have Sean May :)
