candy or not, they managed to put up 5-2. and it's just preseason, but...shouldn't we be putting up those records, then?!?!

Preseason or not, I've seen enough of this team to be worried.

The Kings playoff streak could very well end this season.

Actually, the boxscores did not look all that bad- except for Mike.
Not ready to say the sky is falling, yet. A few clouds maybe.

It's pre-season. The Spurs are 1-7, we went 4-4 in 01-02, 4-4 in 03-04, 2-6 in 04-05 (excluding the following bad start to the season, I'm not saying that'll follow this).

I strongly doubt that

I don't...

The KINGS have a lot of issues to address. If they don't address them adequately, they might as well book their vacations for late April because they won't have anything else to worry about.

To be perfectly blunt, if you're not at least a little worried at this point in time, you haven't been paying attention.

Well so far the pre-season hasn't done anything to change my less then optimistic prediction for this season.

The first month of the season is going to be very interesting.

The good and the bad is that our schedule is soft early in the season, and gets tougher as the year goes along. That's good in that maybe it gives us the breathing room to get organized against lesser opponents and mostly at home. But its also bad in that any games we give away in the first few months while we are figuring things out are going to be hard to make up late int he eyar when we are playing elite teams on the road.

Losing matches that are winnable because of lack of cohesiveness early on in the season can be a problem down the strech

Just watching the Warriors/Suns, and notice so far the Suns have done that trap/collapse double-team down in the post on the Warriors 3 or 4 times, like they were doing to us.
