Felt like a game from last season. Not many stops to be had.
Fox, Domas, and Monk carried the day.
Fox has reached another level even from last season. His three point volume has gone up significantly and hes shooting it the best of his career. Still can get any shot he wants.
Loved Domas aggressiveness in the fourth and during this win streak. 27 points on 13 shots. 14 rebounds 7 assists. Made his free throws. Attempted 3 threes and several mid range shots. Some lousy calls against him. Could’ve been even better.
Monk is awesome. His playmaking is at another level this season and it doesn’t get much better than when the threes are falling.
Hopefully Keegan, Huerter and Barnes find their offense in Dallas. They’ll need the balance.
Barnes finds a way to do SOMETHING when it matters so I don’t feel like going too deep but the Kings can be getting a lot more from that spot. I’m fine with the 11-12 points if we knew for sure we were going to get the 11-12 points, but I’d like that to be coupled with better rebounding and defense. The staff, organization and players insist he does all that so maybe I’m missing something. This is where he has a ridiculous week of games.
I’m happy about Keegan’s defense, but I’m not feeling these single digit scoring games.
good 9 point second half for Huerter. Poor first half.
Sasha, Javale and Duarte were solid.
Keon couldn’t really get into a flow for the second straight game. Would people say he has a slow release on his shot or is he just being bashful? Seems he has a hard time getting open shots off before the rotation closes out on him. Maybe he needs to adjust to the speed and skill of being a rotation player.
Sucks about Len. I was very impressed with what he was bringing and that spring in his step.
Kings haven’t played a back to back yet. Sunday @Dallas and Monday @New Orleans first of the season.
Hopefully 4-2 or better for this road trip. 3-3 would be ok I guess, but it wouldn’t feel good after a 2-0 start.
