Back to back game tomorrow might as well rest starters early if it continues at this rate. We'll have a better chance at Toronto.

I mean, no one can make a damn shot. Embarrassing. All these are open

But they are all out of the Kings split offense. DHO, or swing passes. The only "good" shot that isn't a 3 has been the post up from Murray out of pnr. I guess this team is going to live and die by the 3. Ah, well.

Two crap shows in a row. Atleast this one got late early not to waste my time watching the rest of it

Kings offensively have been bottom of the barrel on this road trip. Playing good defenses explains a drop off but it doesn’t explain a top 5 offense becoming a bottom 5 offense.

Nah, you can see it. Less and less pnr, less switch. Getting crushed on both ends. Losing a game is one thing but going from worst in defense level to middle with change, then going back to what you weren't doing and leaving players like KZ out when they were contributing adds up over time. The Kings offense has value, but they are starting to revert to waaay too much of it. Identities are formed around what consistently works for your team not what your idea of proper Bball is unless that idea is a gimmick the league is currently built around. KEEP IT SIMPLE COACH BROWN.

Back to doubling off pick and roll, playing down off the corners in help, 2 PF lineups in the frontcourt? 80 points in 1 half. Not surprised either. Take your data Brown, read it, soak it in, learn from it. Luke Walton didn't.

2 games in a row the opposing center is pretty much undeterred n gets to do whatever he wants

Not that anyone can really slow down Embiid.

You aren't going to slow down anyone that gets calls like that, so you attack them on the other end. Don't let him sit in the paint all night and watch the game from a safe position as Sabonis plays QB handing off to his RB. Make Embiid come up and down all night on screen plays. The teams that beat the crap out of this team in the playoffs over the years did exactly that.

Sure but is whats gone sour exclusively a refs issue or defensive tactics issue? Because to me, i feel like there's a solid case to be made that this has ventured into the area of a personnel issue also.

It's so sad for the Sixers commentators to not know how NBA rules.

"I'm not sure, Fox still moving..."

Yeah, you just need to be intruding on the defensive position, Sherlock.

Yeah, the refs control the result to an extent but it's also defense. I pointed out the change when they went up to middle of the league in defensive net rating when they went to KZ and pnr switch. Is it ideal to only be able to do that? No. Will it keep them from being a top 10 defensive team? Probably. But the other side is this, lol.

I liked when we could shoot

This is where we learn what this coaching staff is. Kevin Huerter being what he was wasn't going to last although he's obviously in a slump. Teams are now starting to understand where the Kings are getting shots from and what they are going to do on defense especially. The defense is the biggest issue and rotation assigments like going away from small ball to bigger lineups is the main concern.
