The problem with that kind of logic is you'll always be looking on the other side of the fence to see if your neighbor's grass is greener.

Bibby is an integral part of our team and I think he should be. We should keep Peja and get rid of Bibby because Bibby is worth more?

So, if you have a couple of cars you get rid of the one that runs the best because people would be willing to pay more for it?

Maybe. Lets say you have one that is very efficient and reliable but don't have one to do the dirty work. You need that big, bad mean truck that will deal with the garbage that is left in the lane unattended. Do you exchange that small efficient engine for the one that will get the dirty work done? It all depends on the needs and what is available.

Like I said, if you can get EQUAL (buy younger or more defensive oriented) OR BETTER value for him, why not. Petrie has stated before that nobody on the team is untouchable. And yes, I would get rid of a car that runs best and another mediocre one if that was my business...to get one car that runs even better and enjoy it than both cars combined. If you want to put it that way. It is a business. If you think you can improove then break what you have and tinker with it.

That is the same agruement that people have to justify trading Pedja. So I can not see it any different than trading Bibby or anyone of the core. If it makes the team better than any trade of the core players is justifible in my books.

according to the sacbee this guy "impressed", but was injured after 2 games

well, as I mentioned, whatever it is we have seen in this guy, it wasn't in the numbers during summer league:

Game 1: 42min 3pts (1-5, 1-2, 0-0) 2rebs 3ast 1stl 0blk 1TO 7PF
Game 2: 36min 13pts (6-12, 0-1, 1-2) 4rebs 3ast 0stl 0blk 3TO 2PF
Game 3: DNP
Game 4: DNP
Game 5: 17min 6pts (2-4, 2-3, 0-0) 0rebs 0ast 0stl 0blk 0TO 2PF

Guess the one game (Game 2). Big scorer at a very small shcool in college I guess. At least he is suposed to get after it defensively.

I think they'll throw him in Development league this year, we signed him for 2 years so maybe there planning on calling him up as the backup next year..
Sounds like he has alot of potential..

Exactly right!

NO ONE is untouchable if it improves the team and that includes Peja, Bibby and Miller.

You can't get equal or better value if you trade Bibby unless you get one of the best point guards in the league in return. You sure aren't going to get equal value from the Bulls, lol! Bibby is one of the few players on our team that is championship calibur at his position, you don't trade guys like that, you build around them. Bibby needs some actual help inside on Defense and he will be fine, just like he was his first couple seasons in Sac. At the offensive end, as far as point guards go, you don't get any better than Mike Bibby. Especially in crunch time when you need to win games...or during a cold spell when someone needs to step up and carry the team for a stretch... he gets to the basket and finishes or draws a foul and gets to the line, or he catches fire and starts draining perimeter shots. Not to mention Final shots, where he is as fearless and clutch as any player in the NBA... no one on our team is even a close 2nd to him in that regard... and no, thats not a small thing, it's very valueable and rare, and hard to aquire. When you trade that particular skill away, you start to lose those tight close games that you used to win. Mike's an average defender but no worse(or better) than that.
