I'm waiting to see what Keith Smart has to say after the game. I know I'll end up screaming at the TV, but I can't help myself. I know he'll get softball questions, because our beat reporter never cared and doesn't even pretend to be interested nowadays. I wish just once Grant Napear could step away from the microphone and nail Smart with some of the questions you know he really wants to ask...

all have more minutes than Reke. And it was in a game where he was our best player in the 1st. No good explanation for something like that and I doubt any journalists will press Smart about it.

Everybody has more minutes than him damn near. It's ****ing criminal how he gets treated by smart,dammit I hate Smart so much. Stupid ****
I'm not mad that we're losing, I'm mad at Smart for effectively raising a middle finger to the fans and to the two best players on the team. What's going on out there is a disgrace. And that's no disrespect to the bench guys who are making the most of their playing time. Smart conceded this game midway through the third quarter. He's not even trying to coach anymore.

Everybody but Thorton, Hayes, and Johnson has more minutes than Reke and two of those guys didn't even touch the floor tonight. ****ing bull****, **** Smart and **** the Maloofs for even letting him finish this year out, I hope they never own another team and they go broke, dumb bitches aaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!

Through 6 months of the season, every time someone does ask Smart a tough question, he just mumbles and stutters his way through it anyways.
If someone were to do an in-depth study of the worst coaches in the NBA's history, I can guarantee you that stats would prove Keith Smart is in the top 5, maybe top 3 of the most incompetent coaches in league history.

Asked about the foul on Demarcus. Said he didn't see it but both Leon and Violet talked to him. He thought it should have been a foul but we'll have to wait and see what happens. He's going to plan on having him, just like he always does.
One thing this group has done is we take the lump and get hit on the chin and we can put the game behind and go on. He thinks the team will try and play tomorrow night.
I'm trying to be fair but his whole attitude just irritates the crap out of me. He says nothing about icing our players, and insults the starters by insinuating they were the sole reason we lost.
I HATE HIM!!!

You know how Stern fined SA 250K for sitting their starters against Miami? Because it wasn't fair to the fans? Well, Smart is practically doing the same crap. I'd actually rather have Reke/Cuz sent home than expecting them to play and contribute when healthy, and having our freaking coach simply decide to bench them for no reason other than he can't handle the voices in his head.
Actually prefer they just don't play than to be constantly teased with a few mins here, a few mins there and long mins on the bench in favor of an alien like Travis Outlaw.

It's just crazy. Reke scores 10 in the first and there was no one else or anything else to blame for sitting him through half than Smart himself. Can he not count? Reke played well, you bench him for 45 mins real time and when he comes back we're down 18 and that is somehow his fault, and somehow, someway Travis Outlaw is going to carry us back? His whole philosophy makes no sense.
Actually there is a very reasonable explanation. The season is over and a win does almost nothing to change anything. Playing Reke 40 min serves no purpose. We all know that he can play and has been given every opportunity to show who he is and what he is capable of. Same goes for most of the other starters. We know who they are. Cole, Jimmer, PP and Douglas haven't had minutes. It makes sense to let them play and see what you have with them.
If you're Smart and that's what you're going to do, man up and freaking admit it. You're giving him way too much credit. He's been playing fast and loose with minutes all season so it's not that he's looking at player development. He's not gonna be with the team next year anyway.

The **** did he say??? He's blaming the "stars" where 1 scored 10 points in the 1st quarter and then was put on the bench for the rest of the half. Your "star" did get out to a good start you dumb ****. If Smart wasn't such a dumb *****, we'd have at least 5 more wins than what we have now.
