[Game] Kings @ Rockets - 4/14/13

Hopefully the next coach knows that you don't have to play 5 bench players at one time
You continue to forget that Keith Smart has 10 players that could start on any night, so it makes it difficult for him to decide who should play and when. So having 5 players on the floor off the bench makes perfect sense.

I am impressed by Jimmer. He seems to consistently improve ever time we see him. Isn't getting caught up in the air as much, isn't turning the ball over every time he brings the ball up, isn't trying to force as many bad passes. Looking better and better, hope he can keep up the improvement.

Jinx us????? :) I swear there is no team that this franchise has put on the court since 1985 that I have had less faith in. Maybe that's extreme but wow! There is always that curiosity about what would have happened if we had switched coaches or perhaps simply not extended Smart. We'll see what the future brings us. I have hope.
I wish the team could just bench him. Of course, as I say that, they've battled back to within 4. Makes you wonder how good this team could have been if they had been able to play musical chairs for the head coaching slot. I'd rather see any of those other guys sitting next to Smart have a chance.

No Tyreke yet. Even being the leading scorer doesn't change whatever effect that massive hole has in Smart's brain.
As good as Jimmer is playing, there is no reason he should still be in while Tyreke is sitting over on the bench. Smart loves to let players try to do to much if they are playing reasonably well.

If Kobe Bryant could play 40-45 minutes a night, Reke should be able to get at least 35-38
Of course. Same with Cuz. As a fan, I turn on the TV to watch the stars. Maybe that's not being a pure fan but it's the truth.

Edit: do other people share my attitude that they watch the game to watch the stars? Granted a win is nice but I mean as a general rule.. A stupis as it was I enjoyed Boogie's coast to coast ramble. I enjoy watching Reke do things that most athletes can't even contemplate.

I'm holding out hope that they pull a "Varsity Blues" on him on Fan Appreciation Night. Or, even better, they leave him in Houston; everybody just gets on the charter and, when Smart gets to the airport, they tell him the plane is full.

If you're a winning team, winning is the only thing that matters. When you're a losing team, well... I want to see the guys who are going to be the building blocks moving forward and, on the Kings, that means Cousins and Evans.

Wonder if Keith is surprised at the score. Your bench plays extra good to cut down on the lead a bit, then instead of getting the big guns in you leave in the second unit. As expected the Rockets starters come back in and blow them away. WHO WUDDA THUNK.

No wonder Reke's been slumping lately, can't get into a rhythm when your coach benches you the whole 2nd and 4th quarters
It kills me to see our two best players get handcuffed the way they do, look at other teams with the best players, they feed them the ball and stay the hell out of the way, but not our team, most nights our two best players play under 30 minutes a night and get less than 18 shots up, that **** is crazy to see, they both should be getting tons of looks and playing time but nope, playing 12 players never ****ing works.

Reke with 12 min of rest plus halftime. He must be extra fresh. He could of grabbed a Big Mac or something and still come back before the start of the 3rd

Perhaps Smart is trying his hardest to make sure that he get no more coaching jobs. I know most people would be trying to prove something Quite the opposite but HE MAKES NO SENSE!!!!! His decisions are anti-smart. I have tried to make sense of him for a year and can't make sense other than he sees some nobility in playing guys who suck and thinks his job is like the grade school and middle school league coach to give everyone a chance.

I have never wanted a season to end so badly ever before. I usually am sad during the last week as we won't see the Kings until Oct.

Not this year. This hasn't been fun for awhile. I can't wait until this crap is over. I'm ashamed of the NBA as a whole, where a complete idiot like Keith Smart can become a coach for multiple seasons, multiple teams. That's embarrassing for this league.

Yes! I am so beyond tired of Smart's use of player minutes that I have to just remind myself he's not going to be here much longer. Can you imagine what would have happened if the pre-injury Webber was still here and Smart tried that crap? It would have made the Latrell Sprewell-P.J. Carlesimo incident look like a lovefest.

It might have been a team beating.
