Its not about the individual stats but how each player interacts with each other on the court and how their abilities and areas they occupy on the floor affect their own play and their teammates, like how Darren would handle the ball and freeze Rondo out making him a stand still 3pt shooter last year. I'm not sure playing Kosta next to Cousins is beneficial for Cousins.

Past few years we have been killed by early season scheduling, just look at our schedule vs what the warriors have played, who btw play the pelicans for a second time coming up next.

it has, its testing the team's will early on. better to get this bumpy road at first than when it becomes critical later. we get to see what the team is made of.
