Ray was 4/5 shooting with 0 turnovers. Why would you want that when IT had 5 T/OIn what way? I would prefer McLemore instead of Outlaw but I want to see Ray finish a game as the guy in charge.

I think he had one or two last game?

He could have at least been playing the 2 over Outlaw.Ray was 4/5 shooting with 0 turnovers. Why would you want that when IT had 5 T/O![]()
That's because we are, and they have: those two statements are not semantically equivalent, and are mutually exclusive. Mike Conley is good enough to start at PG for us, Coutney Lee is good enough to start for us at SG, so is Tony Allen, Zach Randolph is good enough to start at PF, and Marc Gasol is good enough to start at center, shifting Cousins down to PF. So they do, in fact, have five players that could conceivably start for us. But, in terms of matchups, we have the personnel that would give us favorable matchups against Memphis, and I believe that we would beat them head-to-head, and I also believe, with the benefit of a full training camp, we would have a better record than Memphis, at this point. Better record, plus better head-to-head generally equals better team. But wait you said we are better than the Grizzlies with a full training camp? But now they have 5 guys who could start for is?
Malone tried that in the first half; it didn't work.He could have at least been playing the 2 over Outlaw.
I don't know that I necessarily agree that the Bulls and Grizzlies don't have stars but, sure, I'll back off that one. They don't have any superstars, I'll say that much. They do it more as a team as apposed to using star power. there is no Harden, Howard, Westbrook, Durant on those teams
I am starting to wonder about Malone's sub patterns.., or motives behind them.

Would you consider Noah a star?I don't know that I necessarily agree that the Bulls and Grizzlies don't have stars but, sure, I'll back off that one. They don't have any superstars, I'll say that much.
I think Malone has to consider starting Ray. IT will have a fit but so what?
Is he a superstar? No. Is he a star? Sure he is: for what values of "star" is he not? Are you one of those people who believes that there's no such thing as a star who doesn't score a ton of points?Would you consider Noah a star?
Consider yourself luckyI fell asleep before the game started, guys. I'm sorry.
I doubt it as we can't get that bad. I think he saved Ray for the final 5 or 6 minutes to see how he handled that.
And let us not forget what we wound up getting with that first pickWe don't need to lose games to get lucky: let's not forget, the only time in the history of the lottery that we won the lottery, was when we had the seventh-worst record.
I've said this before, and I think it bears repeating: it's really annoying when the NBA cuts off the post-game on ALP prematurely, but the KHTK online broadcast still doesn't switch back over until after the post-game has ended. I mean, I understand that it's the NBA's I.P., and they have the right not to distribute it, if they so choose, but it's still pretty ****ty. I can't speak for any of the other out-of-market fans, but I would gladly come off an extra twenty bucks a season, on top of the regular price for League Pass, to have full access to the pregame and post-game.
I thought there was more effort in the first half - we scored 11 points in the third quarter. You know, in the first half we had nine turnovers. We did a better job in the second half - a little better job taking care of the basketball - but we allowed them to get to the foul line, Rodney Stuckey had his way with us in that first half off the bench, he really got them going, and to me I thought we lost that game in the third quarter. We didn't come out ready to play, 11 points in the quarter, we had some good looks didn't knock them down but then we just weren't able to get stops. Just a disappointing loss. You know, we defended fairly well, 43% from the field, held a team that is a great paint scoring team to well below their average in the last five games but when you allow Josh Smith, who has owned us in two games to get 24 and then Rodney Stuckey to get 23, they carried the load for them, so I'll give them credit and just another disappointing loss for us.
Malone's postgame presser was a grand total of 59 seconds long
MaGoofs got so excited when TRob fell to 5th....Drummond + Cousins would have been dominate for years.
