The Game Thread Dude
I normally avoid talking about my blog here because you guys read these posts to read about the Kings, not about my other pursuits. That said, in lieu of an actual game thread for tonight's game against the Pistons, I wrote about the three year anniversary of the 2011 Japanese Earthquake instead.
For those of you who don't know, I moved to Mito, the capital of Ibaraki prefecture in Japan at the end of last year. Located against the southern border of Fukushima prefecture, I've felt and witnessed the effects of the tsunami and earthquake far more than I ever thought I would.
While the media's eye has been drawn elsewhere, it's important to remember there are still millions suffering in northern Japan to this day.
So instead of a post bitching about the lack of passing on the team or Isaiah Thomas having another heroball meltdown, I decided to focus on real world problems for once. Sorry. Come the next game, I'll be back to my usual smarmy jackwagon ways.
Until then, this post about the third anniversary of 3/11 is all I have to say.
