Monte, hop on the phones please. If Kyrie can be traded for garbage, surely we can get a decent backup PG and/or Center
I think that's exactly it. That Gobert trade is worse than any trade Vlade ever madeUnless the league realized that the Gobert trade was stupid, and is now doing a course correction.
He definitely does not appear to be on track for that third-straight Rookie of the Month award.when he slumps, he slumps hard. he needs more confidence in himself imo
Denver and I don't remember the otherdo you know what the wins are?
Kyrie is a free agent this summer, which also devalues him quite a bit in addition to him always being injured and apparently impossible to get along with. I’d argue DFS alone is worth more than a bunch of pick swaps too. The perfect modern 3-and-D wing. Dinwiddie gets to play for the team he had the most success with again. Feels like the Nets crushed this trade even if they gave away the far-and-away “best” player.Yeah, but if Irving weren't Irving, that type of player is getting a Gobert level package. Wow, can't believe that's actually a thing, lol.
Yep, and Denver was on a B2B along with usDenver and Charlotte

eh... it's a big difference. We were just without our 2nd best player. They were without: Jokic, Murray, Gordon, KCP, and Hyland. They're just as boned when their star is out too, haha.
has anyone noticed Sabonis taking a step back defensively compared to 20ish games ago? He doesn't seem to offer much resistance at the rim. It could be the fatigue getting to him. Very thankful to him as our all-star, but his defense is dreadful sometimes. At the same time, is our perimeter defense ever going to get better? how do we allow them to shoot 53.8% from 3pt?
For being a defensive guru...Mike Brown kinda sucks at it
I'm curious...what is the Kings' record when facing opponents on a back to back?
I’m confused on why they passed on CP3, crowder and picks though. Unless they know something about CP3 that we don’t. He’s not the same, but, Dinwiddie? Sabonis is the same as he has always been: average at best on defense, definitely not a rim protector. Seems like he has kept his fouls in check which is the most I could hope for.has anyone noticed Sabonis taking a step back defensively compared to 20ish games ago? Sabonis was never a rim protector going back to his OKC and Indiana days. It's unfair to Brown to try turning a bunch of offensive minded players into defense, he is a championship winning coach but even that is too much to ask.
I’m guessing there were protections on the picks. Also CP3 has been worse than his numbers indicate this season, is 37 going on 38 years old, and is making 60 million dollars over the next two seasons, which would absolutely make it impossible for the Nets to do anything to improve their team. It’s a bit of the same logic as the C-Webb moveable pieces deal except Dinwiddie and DFS are actually good and not Kenny Thomas.I’m confused on why they passed on CP3, crowder and picks though. Tides are truly turning because im already over this loss lolIm saving this for the Houston games… even without Fox (potentially) you cannot lose to that team.
That could be part of the fatigue. He has to do a lot and needs more help, but, the perimeter defenders need to be much MUCH better.has anyone noticed Sabonis taking a step back defensively compared to 20ish games ago? eh, those experienced teams are suffering from the same kinda losses right now. This season is just differentWith the recent play, including the home losses, I don't see this team securing a top 6 seed. There's too much experienced talent in the teams they're competing with for these spots, that will play well down the stretch.
Regardless of who plays and who doesn't, for whatever reasons, most of us realize this will likely come down to a game or two making a big difference.
You be trippin'. We played them at home...Am i trippin or did we not already play in Houston? How do we have two more games in their building
