[Game] Kings @ Pacers, Saturday December 8, 4:00PT/7:00ET

This game is somewhat eye opening. Now that the rotation looks a little more like it should you can see that the Kings could use another legit shooter on the wing.
What is eye opening is the effect of shortening your rotation when you play at the King’s pace. We are in this game because Indiana uncharacteristically can’t shoot either tonight. Their coach didn’t play a single player over 30 minutes last night unlike our coach who played multiple.

It's the NBA. Players played near 40 mpg in the 90's when it was more like pro wrestling. It's learning how to maximize rest patterns. That's where this comes up short most of the time. Bogdan right now is going to feel that effect again tonight. He'll probably sit the rest of this one at some point because Joerger wings it night after night.

The pace is much faster then in the 90’s. Totally different.

Reminder why Williams doesn’t stick anywhere right there
There was a contested 3pt attempt he did in the first half where he got happy feet, that was a reminder as well. The Kings have more cap space than anyone and are relying on a dude with a cheap contract in the 4th q tho....

This team will be way better next year... This game is pretty good proof of it. plus next year theres no way the refs can give our youngins as little respect as they get now...

It's more like the 80's and again, starters near 40's. The game was much, much more physical in the 80's and 90's and it's the contact that will wear you out far more than running up and down. Or should. You have to maximize rest. Adelman was a genius at that.
