How about Yi tonight? Granted, against a horrible Kings team. Still, it amazes me that some have already written off as a bust.

22/13/3/2. Just showing some of his potential. He has all-star potential.

On the other hand, got to see the second half of this game. Not pretty. Thompson needs more minutes.

Why would you put Kenny Thomas who is a short PF who cant grab a rebuond, where you put Jason Thomopson to grab some boards, gain some confidence, and get some more experience. We will prolly still lose, but with some development!!!

ARGGggg

I thought our season was summed up nicely by the last intentional foul on Boone. We get him to miss both, get two bodies on Yi, then inexplicably let him go to grab the rebound and also manage to foul him essentially putting the game out of reach.

That or the Carter 5pt play....

Hmm, so many choices.. :)

He's on his way. According to fans, he'll eventually be voted as a starter to the All Star team.

LMAO at brad miller. This crap that he pulls with the refs at the end of games has gotten soooo damn old its sickening. Whoever still likes this piece of trash is nuts.

I was actually pretty upset at the refs this game also. Those 2 blocking foul calls on Jason Thompson were both bogus, and the Brad Miller sequence in the 4th quarter leading to his technical were also bad officiating. Did they stop watching him to give him leeway once they missed the first foul, because an elbow to the jaw like that usually justifies a technical in and of itself:mad:.

I don't know why JT is not liked by our so called coaches? that's so ****in ridiculous I'm just out of words for now...

I tell you what, any team that feels like dealing for John Salmons better make sure they don't have a #1 guy on their team because Salmons is horrible when he isn't the first option.

Thompson had five fouls at the time already. It was a choice between Mikki and K9, and I'd rather try to scrap some value out of K9 when he's playing well.

Though it doesn't bode well for Mikki when Spencer comes back.

We might actually win some of these games if kevin gets some consistent help. This is great for draft position.... but we will still have freakin beno next year. Imagine what kevin could do with a real playmaking pg.

Who cares about Mikki anymore, just try put some value on someone that can have value.

We have a TDM award for a reason. Didn't Kwame once have a monster game against us?

You are nuts if you think this is the only game in which he has shown tremendous upside. Comparing him to Kwame is fruitless - they are worlds apart in skillset, and it's the variety of ways in which Yi got his points. I'm not hailing him as a sure future star, but he has alot of talent and potential.

Just put him in the game even if he eventually fouls out, anything is better than having moore or thomas playing the entire 4th quarter!

I can't wait until we get a starting center that can actually get more the 2 inches off the ground. Brads weak *** layup is depressing and he needs to go. Spencer can get up a bit but I want a guy that will break your wrist if you try to block it.

You're right... Brown is a better defender, and has actually been a starter for a playoff team, for whatever that may be worth.

Here's a question for you: without looking it up, who would you guess had the higher career high between the two of them?

I don't know why Kenny Thomas is so disliked. He is the best rebounding big the Kings have outside of Thompson and is the best defensive big. His contract is not his fault, I think we all would have signed it.

Some players play bigger than their size and some play smaller.
BJax and Thomas play bigger than their size and Miller and Moore play like they are 6'6"

I can't wait for next year so these players expiring contracts will have value and can be traded.

It's because he blows wide open layups, pouts when he is not the starter, is messing with the salary cap (not his fault I agree), generally appears lazy, and brings no emotion or leadership. I think he played a little better than usual tonight, maybe because it's the first time he's really played in about a year.

When we first got him for Webber I thought he was generally productive, but after Adelman left he really went downhill...

Playing Thomas was a great idea. I would expect him to be called upon again very soon. Jackson should be the backup to beno, or Beno to Bobby. Because Bobby Brown is stinky right now, he needs another 10 lbs, and more runners added to his game. One half of a season left for Bobby to play his way onto an NBA roster next year. If NBA teams buy out a 20 million dollar contract(Marbury & Knicks), All i'm saying is stranger things have happened with much larger deals.

I agree with you about Yi, he's very aggressive and has a nice shot to boot. He's lightyears ahead of guys like Zhi Zhi Wang...I think Yi can be a consistent 16/9 guy when he matures...kind of poor man's Toni Kukoc.
