As cynical as I've gotten, I still can't believe we just lost that game. Did we really just put up only 82 pts against Utah? We've been scoring that by halfway thru the 3rd lately...

Its bad when Mike has the best game of anyone and misses lik 15 shots. Cat and Eddie combined to shoot like 3-23 or something......WOW! If Mike was embarassed by getting beat by the best team in the league just imagine how he feels right now!

and I knew this would happen..."what? beat Utah no problem" apparently it was and this has got to the first time all year where we didn't come out and play like we were the best team in the league after we had been blown out the previous game
this is jus tlike the nd of last season... and everyone blamed webber for it..... well.... webber is gone so who do we blame now? besides finley of course...

if we had brad, bobby and peja... blah, vlah, blah.... if they had ak and boozer... this team has/had no heart.... the lakers and twolves are lucky that they arent going to the playoffs....

This is NOT a cohesive team. It's a bunch of guys who don't know each other very well. Now that the newness has worn off, all the ugly little weaknesses are being exposed. Our ONLY hope is for Peja, Brad and Bobby to be back...

It's easy to root for a team that wins all the time. I find it deplorable that you're so quick to turn on them and accuse them of "no heart" when they lose.

Looks like it's some of the FANS who have no heart.

Look everyone here wants to avoid who and who in the playoffs. (Including myself honestly)

To me this is a loser attitude. Just look at how other West team gearing up for the PO. We are still a puzzle to be figured out.

We have out top scorer out. Our starting center out. Our 6th man out. We can't beat Dallas with that. Now if you think its a loser attitude thats your opinion. We can beat Seatle without Miller and Jackson. that would give them another week or so to get ready. Look at what we did against Seattle the last game. Its not like tonights game was the 1st one we lost all season. We have looked worse than this. Nobody is taking chances of getting hurt. You see what happened to Peja, and Brad. The kings are going to take these last 2 games with a grain of salt and just make sure they don't put themselves in the position to be injured come playoff time.

Mike hasn't played D since college! Maybe thats why he hasn't won a championship since college. But in all seriousness this loss does not fall on his shoulders.
I never said that. Not even close. All I said that everybody including Mike - has to take a good look in the mirror. I have given up on several players improving and I do not think they will be back. Mike, however, still has a chance to be a more compleate player. He could be the best PG in the league if he only played some defense.

Yeah i got 4 questions.

1. do the suns have their top scorer playing?
2. do the suns have thier starting Center playing?
3. do the suns have their 6h man playing?
4. How many half court sets have Denver and Pheonix had?

I know that Bibby needs to play better defense. They ALL do. However, we can't ask him to be the star at both ends of the court. This is a TEAM game. He led us in points and assists tonight. In fact, he led both teams in these catagories. The team is struggling because they are not playing as a team. We've all taked about the seasons when we seemed to dominate other teams. We did that because everyone knew their roles and did their job. When you have new players throen together, it does not work the same. We only had 2 players tonight that were even on our team last year! I can handle to loss. Lord knows we were horrible for years, BUT, the lack of desire from the new guys bothers me.

Oh I don't think ANYONE questioned things were going to chage this summer after the Webber trade. The only real question is WHO goes and who comes in.
And I think that may be part of the problem. This isn't a secure group at all and they haven't played together very long. Look how many are on "this season only" contracts. Look at who can opt out. And let's face it, Corliss, KT and Skinner have been openly discussed as "tradeable" pieces. I think under the circumstances, it's pretty hard to create a real team feeling. The kind of team that plays hard for each other, and with each other.

Maybe it could have worked if Bobby could have come back sooner, if Brad hadn't been hurt, If Peja hadn't gotten hurt. If we play like this, Seattle will walk right over us without looking back. I'm just hoping something can go right before Saturday. Poor Mike looked miserable out there.

Did Utah have their top scorer playing? Their best post player? Their best defensive player?? Their best rebounder??

iheartbrad, I take solace in the fact that these same (sky is falling fans) will be screaming how awesome we are after the first game against Seattle. You can only describe the fans at KingsFans.com as Day-to-Day.

Exactly! We just got our A$$es handed to us by one of the WORST teams in the league. Keith McLeod, Gordan Giricek, Matt Harpring, Maehmet Okur, Kris Humphries........who the Heck are they?!?!?!?!

We need more from him. We need Mike to play some sort of defense and we need to have Pedja to play his best. Inorder to have a chance in any post game success we need our 2 top players to play thier best because we do not have the talent like we did in the past. We need them period to set up. This going to be thier biggest test in thier careers especailly Pedja.

Yeah but the birght side (Pay attention Brick) The Kings held the Jazz under 100 at only 92 points!
LMAO Thank you. :D I will recover a degree of hope tommorrow, but this was awful. By the way, I don't consider it losing heart to admit that this team is not playing well at this point in time. It is what it is. I love them no less and will cheer every game. Some games just get more 4-letter words mixed in with cheers.

I saw the who are they question before when we got Williamson, Thomas and Skinner and btw all 3 of those guys started tonight. Hell we lost to Charlotte a few weeks back. We lost to New Orleans in Jan. this is nothing new. Its just tonight.
