Is this the 1st game we have lost all season? geeez Hell were we 80-0 and nobody told me. I haven't seen this much angst against the Kings all year.
Look we should have won this game, it's not just another reg season game. The guys really didn't know if they needed to win this one or not. We should have won this game easily, you're def entitled to your opinion but I'm entitled to mine. I haven't had a good feeling about this team for awhile now I think I've made that clear, it's not like I just started to think that tonight. Like I said, even I can't believe we lost by 10 tonight, after watching the Jazz last night against Portland of all teams I thought there was no way our guys could drop this game... I guess I was wrong.

Its because we are playing our worst basketball and the playoffs start Saturday. We are all still waiting to see the effort and desire. I don't care if we lose as long as we go down fighting! But to see our guys struggling and not giving 100% this close to the playoffs is not good. We don't look like a team that's ready to do some damage in a week!

We need a lot more from all of our players. I think we will get it. I know I may be being too optimistic, but I hae too much faith in our core (who will be back!) to not trust that. Good thing:
1. Post season = new beginning / clean slate/ fresh start
2. Our team has good playoff experiece (maybe not together but experience is experience is experience anywhere)
3. NOBODY knows what to expect form our team. Not even us. We have played NO games with all of our pieces together. The Sonics will have NO IDEA how or who to prepare when they face us.
4. My personal opinion: A semi healthy Bibby, Peja, Brad, and Bobby is better that a completely healthy _____________ (insert names). I'm baised, I know!

Like piski said the other day. You have to go with what you got. Wheather you have a good feeling about this team or not it is the Kings and this is the team that is going to the playoffs. Alot of teams that have been there before can't say that. We should have won a lot of games we didn't. Thats neither here nor there. What we as kings fans have to focus on is getting behind our team in the up coming playoffs. because after Wednesday those 82 games mean squat. And if you don't think we will play different then as opposed to tonight then you are in for a rude awakening.

I saw the who are they question before when we got Williamson, Thomas and Skinner and btw all 3 of those guys started tonight. Hell we lost to Charlotte a few weeks back. We lost to New Orleans in Jan. this is nothing new. Its just tonight.
The difference is that this was supposed to be a big game for us! We didn't know Phoenix was gonna come out and kill Denver. We were playing to win a game to avoid San Antonio! And we didn't even show up.....very disheartening!

That is a great 74th post. Especially #3 NOBODY has a clue who is going to be on the court at tip off or what to expect to come in. Not to mention how we stepped up defense last year in the playoffs. Your right teams play different in the playoffs its a clean slate. Anything goes.

I knew it i am sure they did. I have been hoping for this scenerio all day. I knew the suns would give there all tonight because they won't be playing much Wednesday. I hated that we had to lose to the suns. But even if the Nuggets come back to win they would half to win Wed and we would have to lose for us to slip to 7th. Also i would rather play SA than Dallas right now.

Voshon Lenard is back from a blown Achilles tendon, Richard Jefferson is coming back from his broken wrist, Tim Duncan is back, Rashard Lewis is back. WHEN ARE OUR GUYS COMING BACK?????????????????????????????????

I just can't wait for everything to be done and over with so I can stop stressing and move on to baseball for the summer...:sigh:
I didn't know you were a baseball fan, Sha. :D
Ya know, I had that same feeling last season too. Remember how we ended last season? But this season, the team is different so whatever happens now and in the playoffs, I'm already satisfied. :)

I didnt get a chance to watch the game , but it looked slugish, im glad Houston won and Denver is getting blown out, if Denver doesn comeback , we are locked into 6th seed now , so some good did come out of this, cant wait for the playoffs !!!
