I just don't get you guys on here.
All you seem to do is bash on IT the whole game long - even when he is playing well!
Even when he's shooting 8 for 12, with 3 RBDs, 6 Assists, only 2 tO's for 25 points in 3 quarters, and all you can do is point out when he isn;t perfect.

How bout that WIDE OPEN 3-pt shot IT gave to Tyreke, who proceeded to almost air-ball it short?
Be a bit fairer and more accurate in your game recollections, PLEASE.

You would have 7 assists when you're the only one who ever touches the ball. Yes what about that play? That was a good pass from IT, and Tyreke missed the shot. You've never seen our guys miss open 3s before? I'm criticizing the kinds of shots that IT takes, and more so the coaches because this is not offense that wins basketball. Like I said, it's all good when it's going in, but some nights those shots are not going to go in, and then you're in for a tough time.

I find it most interesting that Tyreke has more or less started most of our last few games very well in the first quarter, and then gone on to not do much throughout most of the second and third.

He bricked that shot, but the larger problem is IT/Smart turning Reke into an off the ball, catch and shoot player which is the worst way to use him and your post reflects that, judging Reke on his catch and shoot ability.

Well when his job is to set people up cause he's a Point Guard and he rarely does it and that was the thing people criticized Reke on when he was Point, you can see why some people complain. Yeah he sets up Reke with a corner 3, when that's his 1st or 2nd shot of the quarter, you can see why people ask why isn't Reke getting touches. IT is having a great game and has been playing well for a while, but he's gotta stop getting tunnel vision and fix his game like everybody on this team seems to have, except for Chuck

Interesting point. Is he really? Was he having trouble in the first quarter? He's now played the whole third and 5 minutes of the 4th in a very uptempo game, so fatigue may have a part to play. That last one was really a gimme though, he should have made that one.

I can't think of a single coach who plays a starter straight through to the 6 min mark of the 4th, then most likely benches him through the end.


Check that, actually one, he coaches at a local church, the U7's, a coed boys and girls team where playing time is guaranteed and the orange slices are to die for.

I'm watching MT this quarter and it's really sad to see that (just like with every other player) we don't use him to our full advantage. He's such a good shooter and we just sit him on the outside to wait to get the ball given to him. How about running some plays and setting some screens and getting him to move to get open 3 point shots like teams do all the time against us?

This team needs a major restructureing of its guards and a coach who can use Tyreke. People can do only what they can do so I don't blame IT. He shouldn't be a starter on this team. Or we should get rid of Tyreke but I think that would be very foolish. Let's wait for a new organization as it is guaranteed the Maloofs and their stupidity are gone.
