[Game] Kings @ Hawks 2/22/13

Man I feel bad for Tyreke. He just isnt really used on offense that much. Most of the time the only way gets the point is on a fast break or when he has to force his shot.

Reke has too calm of a demeanor if you ask me. It's actually not a good sign he's so willing to settle into being a role player.

True, I kinda feel like he's leaving, he knows things are bad and with how he's been jerked around, he could just be sucking it up and waiting for the summer.

IT goes under every screen.

He gets stucked TERRIBLY when he tries to go over them. I don't know what the solution is, I think it might just be his size not allowing him to get around them well. Anyone know how he can improve on it, or if it's possible? His defense would be decent enough if he could solve the screen issue. It really makes him a bad bad bad liability out there.

The last 2 or 3 plays were Tyreke running the show. The 3 before that were all IT. That right there is where I see a good coach being a HUGE difference. You have plays and movement where you take what's there and don't have players forcing plays when it's their turn to touch the ball. A good coach facilitates the ball though his entire team in a much better manner.

Nailed it right there. Guys come out playing good basketball, but once they don't get the ball for extended stretches they start forcing things and looking for their own shot

ok, how many 3's has Isaiah given up?

I want to see how many are given up directly because of him. People showing on the screen leading to open 3s or him going under and a 3 being knocked down happen a lot. Or switches happen leading to defense collapsing and an open 3. Many of them are due to him indirectly too.

I actually think he IS quick enough to go under and get back on his man, but he's not going full speed on defense right now.

I just don't get you guys on here.
All you seem to do is bash on IT the whole game long - even when he is playing well!
Even when he's shooting 8 for 12, with 3 RBDs, 6 Assists, only 2 tO's for 25 points in 3 quarters, and all you can do is point out when he isn;t perfect.

How bout that WIDE OPEN 3-pt shot IT gave to Tyreke, who proceeded to almost air-ball it short?
Be a bit fairer and more accurate in your game recollections, PLEASE.

Who cares? He's awful.

JJ when he shoots = awful.
JJ when he just plays defense = decent.

If we could just get him not to shoot... but I guess that's why he left Toronto in the first place. He wouldn't accept a role where he wasn't a part of the offense.

When a guy is getting consistent shots and gets to touch the ball on every possession, he's going to have big games every now and then. His jumper is on tonight and his offensive numbers are up. Lets not pretend like he does this every night.

His issues on defense are consistent, this big shooting night is somewhat rare.
