Kings Front Runners for Nate?

Nate just plays the game offensively the way a Bobby Jackson does. Its not a huge problem in the right role. As a Barbossa he is actually very much a D'Antoni player. As a 6th man, he could very much be a Bobby Jackson player (on offense) for us. The problem becomes when he is asked, or demands to be a starter, at which point he moves from sparkplug to selfish, and with the defense.

Can't we just kill this really dumm thread about a 5-11 AI type who brings NOTHING to the Kings at this time?

Yep. The best way to kill it is just not to post in it any longer...

oops.

People who can dunk are a dime a dozen and the dunk championship is becoming more and more like the WWE but without the drama. I would not drive down to Arco to see someone take a gazillion attempts at a ridiculous circus shot...unless he was wearing a Harlem Globetrotters jersey.

Not everyone thinks the ultimate feat in basketball is to be a short guy who dunks. I'd rather watch a TEAM come together and play a good solid game of basketball than watch some guy in a cutesy costume do an act better suited for the old time Gong Show.

Well I see where you are coming from, but I can't see why you wouldn't want a nice spark plug who is coming off his best season. Sure he is a bit on the short side, but he can score. And I do think he might be a bit expensive might just be a shorter better version of Rashad, but hey who knows he could turn out to be a more athletic Bobby Jackson.

He's young, he's got a good 6th man game, and the Kings are hardly above him. Its hard to tell for sure through the smokescreen thrown up by all the New York media yabbering all the time, but the Kings may in fact have been interested at him at various points the last few years.

GeraldWallace#3 - You answered your own question. He's too expensive, most likely, he's too short, and he's too selfish when push comes to shove.

There are too many other alternatives out there I think would work much better in the new Kings. We're building a team of TEAM players and I just don't think Robinson possesses that mindset.
