We showed up, but the team was a little flat. We were the loud ones shouting defense in the second half. Boy did we hear it from the Clips fans. I asked them if they only got up on their feet and got loud at games when they felt out-classed by the other team's fans.

I mean it was awfully quiet in there till we started chanting defense in the second half.
Other than yelling taunts back at us, the only other time I saw Clips fans on their feet was for freebie handouts.
On the other hand, I came away feeling sorry for the Clipper fans. They have a nice arena in Staples, but not very welcoming arena operators, whoever they are.
Our thunder stix were confiscated at the door as "noisemakers" and because we might block someone's view. A few snuck them past security anyway. Cowbells were banned. (Someone took them back to their car, since some were personal cowbells.) No signs allowed. Before the game I saw an usher telling a couple of guys to put away the Israeli flags. They brought them out anyway. I'm telling you, it felt like any fan-like behavior was basically discouraged. I think security is important, but so is a good time and fun for the fans.
We are so lucky to have MSE as owners. They want the fans to be loud. They want fans to express their support. Heck, the Maloofs are as loud as any fans in Arco. Low league attendance or not, Arco has more life in it this year (not last) as Staples did tonight with a decent crowd.
Food service lines at half time were actually worse than Arco and when I finally got up there, they'd run out of hot dogs!
I'm sorry the Kings did not perform well tonight. But Kingsfans.com folks get an A++!
Oh yeah, I ran into Sactownfan at the concession stand. Very nice guy. And everyone else was so nice, too.
