Well India is a big country with lots of languages. Our Vivek and the other Vivek are from different parts of India and speak completely different languages, not to talk of different pronunciations. The word itself has Sanskrit origins, but will be spoken differently in different parts.
Bottom line, there is no right answer. So, have fun.

The pronunciation rule in Sanskrit in general in the in multi-syllabic words, the second to last syllable gets the emphasis. ran-a-DI-ve. I'm not completely sure but I think those guidelines would have it pronounced VI-vek - and I have heard what appears to be more conscientious commentators say it that way. My guess is because we hear anyone say it that way, that's probably the native way to say, because the default English way would be vi-VEK.
Either way - Vivek doesn't seem to be a stickler about it.
