[Game] Kings @ Clippers - 12/21/12

Brooks looks gawdaweful in this game. He's just not competing. The stupid turnovers are atrocious - Brooks, Cousins, Hayes. Total, total breakdown.

That's what I just can't stand - the myopia that this organisation and the coach have. Even the Charlotte Bobcats won a game or too last year - that doesn't mean that you played well. Our win over the Warriors was just a chuck fest that we barely came out on top of. If you ever want to have sustainable success you need to have an identity and develop a style of play. At the moment the Sacramento Kings' identity are losers and their style of play is cr*p.
 
How about just taking care of the ball, playing D, and rebounding like you mean it?
Not much aggression by the Kings in this game, and I'm being kind.

Grant and Walton talk about it and say that DMC not being out there is strictly a coach's decision, that there's nothing wrong with Cuz. Walton hints a bit about how Cousins needs to grow up (in different words) and Grant says that the coaches, Petrie, etc. are all working with Cousins and haven't given up on him. Walton then says something more than a little prophetic, "You can't teach someone what they don't want to know."

Jim Gray said the Kings public relations staff said that Cousins won't return tonight and won't play and that Smart says it's a coach's decision.

That sound you hear is this season getting flushed down the toilet. When was it that I said there would be a Cousins' blow up? If the coach sucks, Cuz will be the first to say something. Like it or not.
 
maybe the players came together and said "ok guys somehow we are still stuck with this coach, DeMarcus got our last coach fired, lets see if he can do it again. go fight with the coach at halftime Demarcus"

Or maybe it's Smart's master game plan ... taking out Cuz to surprise the Clippers who won't know how to attack the Kings or defend us anymore!
