Udrih was horrible tonight. The more I watch the guy, the more I see why Popovich let the guy go. When he's not hitting his shot, he's not very good, and when he's not hitting his shot and he keep shooting, he's even worse. Gave us nothing tonight because he's sofffffffffttttttttttttt on defense.

no it aint he is pretty good on defense and although he missed shots he made FT and runs the offense well he is good even when he isnt having a great shooting night and refs blew the call at the end

Try watching Udrih on defense and the amount of space he gives his opponent and then watch other PG's play defense. There is a big difference. He's 36th among PG's in assist / TO ratio. When he's hitting his shot he's good, when he doesn't he doesn't give us much. Sure sounds like Mike Bibby.

Back in the days when Kings were an elite team I couldn't get tickets for Kings@Chicago for less then arm, leg and option on my other leg. Now that I can get them for the price of asking we lose like this? Ben Wallace's single point of the game being the difference? Really?

Not quite. Bibby although not a great defender does more on offense than Udrich ever will. Yes Beno has good nights at times but, he NEVER draws double teams on the perimeter like mike and he doesn't have as quick of a release therefore letting his 1 defender get back in position. Not to mention Bibby has respect as a 3-point shooter and that spreads the floor keeping his man from leaking down to double team on Ron in post or whoever. If you get Bibby and Artest playing a 2 man game 1 of them will get open or you have somebody on the other side WIDE open usually Martin. Who would be open none other than Kevin Martin.

rediculous no calls and one-sided goal-tending calling for the whole game. Should've been a 10 pt victory for the kings if you take out Nocioni's excellent 3 pt play, and the utterly rediculous goal tending calls and no calls.

although, with the way the Kings handled a few possessions at the end, and the terrible "lets have Salmons dribble in the middle of the court, with no iso set, no screens, no one back cutting" second to last play, or the even worse called actual last play, I guess they deserve the loss.
It wasn't the play-call; it was Salmons. He had tunnel vision on the play. Garcia was there on the wing for an easy pass and a wide open shot. Salmons didn't get him the ball. All Salmons had to do was keep his head up, take two dribbles toward the basket, and kick it to Garcia. Didn't happen. Game over.

I like John Salmons, his energy and enthusiasm and drive. Now, having said that, I'm going to add the "but..."

The spin move he's become so enamored of is going to drive me insane. It was, I believe, an attempt to make that very same move that caused him to stumble, then get called for traveling...
