It isn't that they aren't talented enough to get the job done,IMHO, so much as the particular combination isn't right.

It's like trying to put a jigsaw puzzle together and realizing you've got the pieces to three different ones.
I think you just said it yourself... we are "TALENTED" but we're not using the right combinations in otherwords that blame goes to RA and the coaching staff.

Oh lord...

The point isn't the combination of the players WE HAVE. It's the fact we don't have the right combination of players.

No, what she said was that we didn't have the right pieces for ANYONE to put it together. We've got all sides, and no corners.

If I gave you a team with 12 Allen Iverson's or 12 Shaq's you wouldn't win a single game in the NBA. We're all offense, no defense or rebounders, kids who aren't ready, and a pile of duplicative tweener forwards. I said it from the moment we hit camp, and not a thing has happened to change my stance -- we are poorly constructed, unbalanced, and it wasn't Rick who did the constructing.

If thats the case then why isn't Geoff trying to do something with the roster? quite frankly if the Kings want to make a run at the playoffs then they need to make changes now to benefit them later unless they wanna tank and I hope they don't.

I think it's probably safe to assume that Petrie IS working on something. It's also pretty safe to assume we won't know a thing about it until he pulls the trigger. Did you know about the Christie trade ahead of time? Nope. What about Webber? Nope again...

If the fans know there's a problem, I'm gonna go way out on a limb and say that Petrie probably knows it, too.

Let's hope so I'm not sure if we're calling for a Major Impact player though It's safe to say I'm still hoping for the Peja for Artest deal.

a little tweaking on the bench would help also.

Darn VF you're making me hopeful, and since there probably won't be a trade soon(since there was a problem for a while now and one hasn't happened), I'm gonna feel let down by Geoff:( .

. Until something drastic happens to either the Kings or to Chris Webber, there is a legitimate argument that the team, as it exists right now, is less talented than it would be if Chris Webber was still here.
no one is arguing that, unless i'm mistaken. i'm just saying these guys rotting on the bench have some use, but its not used.

Oh, I think there will be a trade. My question is, after what happened last year, will the trade GP comes up with make us better or worse?

I agree and trading only one player will not solve the problem. We need to change our core.
