Kings @ Blazers Game Thread

Don't go there about the refs. It sounds like whining. The refs don't decide the game. The Kings put themselves in a position to lose and that's what happened

So...what WAS Brad looking away at when he blew that last jump ball??

edit: refs....I think not.

I think Mikki is the best pf on the team and that says exactly what it sounds like. :(

Which is exactly why I think we should, if we don't get the 1st pick(and I doubt we would, anyway), we should do everything in our power to get Michael Beasley from Kansas St.

Garcia isn't even close the one that should carry any blame on his shoulders. Try this on for size. Mikki Moore, Brad Miller, Kenny Thomas played a combined 78 min and got 7 reb between them. Meanwhile Kevin Martin played 37 min and got 7 reb himself. If Theus continues to play this frontcourt we will not win 20 ****ing games this year. Moore had 0 rebounds as the starting PF.

Oh good grief. Had you bothered to read the post that initiated this whole sequence between myself and JuicyJ, you would have noticed that I NEVER meant to place anything even remoting resembling 'BLAME' on Garcia.

Francisco is every bit as aggravating as Jason Williams used to be. :(

JuicyJ is the one who didn't know what I meant, so I clarified. Apparently I need to make it even simpler...

IF GARCIA DIDN'T HAVE THE POTENTIAL to be very, very, very good, it wouldn't be so aggravating when he does dumb things. I was merely expressing that aggravation. I was not and did not intend to place blame. If you're going to respond to my comments, please do me the great favor of at least starting at beginning.

Thanks ever so.

I think that Williams is quite a lot better than Mikki, in every way but at the FT line. But that still doesn't mean anything in the way of quick fixes, except that Mikki ate what slack we had in the payroll budget, eliminating other possibilities. And he's eating Williams' minutes, so Justin won't be getting the experience which he needs. In those respects, Moore is simply a liability. But it's uncertain whether Williams will ever rise to the level of an NBA starter, or will remain only a solid backup. And what it would take to make this team competitive is quite a bit more than just any starting-quality PF, we'd need a really top notch PF. I'm not sure whether even a Bibby trade would get us that. Unless it's to get a draft pick which happens to be very lucky, I doubt it.
