Ah, the dregs of the regular season. The Kings remain distinctly outside of the playoff chase and this year I don't even have Maloof ineptitude to write about.

Anyways, I am exhausted and hungry and need sleep.

This game will be the battle of the -marcuses.

as much as I love watching my Kings play I can't wait for the offseason, the draft, and ultimately next season. it is clear that the front office is finally in tank mode. as a result we have a clearly frustrated DMC and a horrendous product on the floor. I will still try to watch but it won't be easy.

with all of that in mind Blazers win Kings lose. Blazers have something to win for and the Kings have something to lose for.

#FREEOUTLAW!

Seriously, doesn't he always go off on the Blazers? We might need to bench him if we're truly tanking. Maybe he has an ingrown toenail or something that might keep him out.

I think the odds are pretty good that we will be the 7th worst team, tank or no tank. I would prefer to finish out the season playing well and maybe getting a couple of wins so that we can at least say we made improvement over last year.

Boston and Detroit are shamelessly tanking tonight.

"Guilty until proven innocent, huh? That's how we workin', huh?"

Why are teams not allowed to just be bad any more? When did we stop believing that some teams just plain suck?

... Which lines up pretty closely with something I think I said back in January: we were going to be between the 6th and the 9th worst team, whether we try to win or not, so we might as well try to win. We aren't bad enough to finish behind Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Orlando or Boston, even if we tried to lose on purpose. The only way that we could have finished with a worse record than any of those teams is if D'Alessandro had traded Cousins; Cousins is good enough, by himself, to get us twenty wins by accident.

FYI, the Celtics are tanking so shamelessly, they have outscored the Hawks 54-38 since the end of the first quarter, and take a seven-point lead into the fourth.

The Celtics are blatantly tanking again. Leaving Korver open for 10+ seconds, throwing "bad" passes, "fumbling" passes out of bounds, and taking bad shots. They must have gotten word that Orlando won its game tonight.

Outlaw loves those rims in Portland. Nice interview with the very soft spoken Mississippi delta Travis in pre-game.

Kings are such terrible shooting team - one of worst %. Something like 27th in NBA. And shooting was suppose to be strength coming into this season. That brick happy nonsense must be addressed in major way next season.

Ben's shot is so much better when he squared up.. His biggest problem is most of the time he tries to shoot so quick he is still moving in direction he was running. Just 1/2 later and he would be squared up

Why does JT always give up on defense and commit obvious fouls?

He doesn't play BIG at all for a guy who if he'd stand up would be 6'11. Look how awkward and bent over he usually is. Must go back to his days as point guard or off guard in H.S.

i'm really interested to see how big of a turnover this roster has during the off-season. i think only a small handful of these guys will still be here when October rolls around
