Right now, Wesley's agent is in contact with the Mavs. Most likely telling them that they got this offer from the Kings and have until ____ to respond. Increase your offer Cuban or Wesley is gone.

Never seen it, but the hair on the guy on the right, makes me hate this show regardless...
Holy crap you are right! You mean your other right.
And the Mavs are probably telling him to wait until the DeAndre situation clears out... and if he wants to play there he is going to wait- question is if we can afford to wait for him...
You can make the threat, but what is your hand exactly? you just carved out space to get him or Monta, Monta is of the board- what are you gonna do now? I guarantee you is agent knows we are pretty much in desperation mode to get him.Absolutely not. He should be given until 9am tomorrow max. We need to make other moves and DJ will not decide by tomorrow. So it's either he wants the money or move on.

Again an empty threat, what better options you got waiting on the shelf? you just put all of your eggs in one basket, you can't afford it to drop...And the Kings response should be that he has one call to Dallas if he likes before the offer is pulled.
He also loses quite a bit of leverage if we pull our offer. I don't really buy the Toronto angle and think their interest was prior to signing Carroll. Wes's agent was just using them for leverage against the Mavs prior to the Kings entering the race. Unless there have been other offers that we are unaware of, his best change at $15 mil is from the Kings. Teams like the Knicks and Lakers don't really have a need at SG so I can't see any other last second suitors. If he passes on our offer I'm willing to bet he doesn't get more elsewhere and may end up settling for around $10-$12 mil with DallasAbsolutely not. He should be given until 9am tomorrow max. None, but as long as there's a chance you are still in the game, and I'm not sure we can afford to lose this (or even admit to it...)Well if he's using Sac anyway what's the difference?
What we have on our side is $9 million reasons. He'll have to pay state tax here, but it will still equal close to $4 million difference. For someone like Wesley, he understands he has limited number of years to make the most he can. He was in college for 4 years and after his injury, who knows what can happen. He knows that and money does make a difference to him. If it didn't, he wouldn't fly to Sac.
Call his bluff, we can't be played around with all time like Iggy's deal or players refusing to workout for our team.
This offseason is probably going to not end very well. Next off season will be bad too since about 15 teams are going to have a ridiculous amount of cap. Hopefully we can start getting our younger guys to progress.
Also as a side note, Saw Omri today at the mall... I live in the Tampa area, so it was kind of weird. Told him I hope he's back in Sac and he said me too.
Guess that makes sense then lolHe's training with Thorpe.
Plan B doesn't look so bad... Sign Rondo to $10 mill. leaving $14-15 mill. to upgrade the bench (Koufos, Stuckey, etc.).
Seriously! Ben could also improve this year as well....Plan B doesn't look so bad... Sign Rondo to $10 mill. leaving $14-15 mill. to upgrade the bench (Koufos, Stuckey, etc.).
It looks bad if we end up not coming close to sniffing a playoff spot.Plan B doesn't look so bad... Sign Rondo to $10 mill. leaving $14-15 mill. to upgrade the bench (Koufos, Stuckey, etc.).
If we don't get Wes then we should just sign everyone to 1 year deals. Maybe a mid season trade or try again at landing a better free agent next year. Hopefully after a more stable year than this last one
I kind of hope he doesn't sign with us (Matthews, that is). More minutes for B Mac who I truly feel is going to break out this year, especially if Rondo is feeding him the ball.
