yep, timeline is not set in stone, but he should be back by Friday at the latest. I've had the same injury, take 5-12 days.

Good to know some other people have had experience with an injury like that before. When I said he'd be out for 2 weeks right after it happened I was met mostly by scoffs.

Not a doctor but I played one with my girlfriend. Friday is the 1st game of a back to back, and an away game. Saturday is the 1st game of a long home stand with 2 or 3 games rest between the first 4 games. So, to play it safe, I'd have him wait until the Home game against Dallas on the 29th.

Haven't seen it here yest but the bee is reporting that the ankle of Matin is fine but the tendon behind his achillies keeps getting fluid on it.

can't believe this isn't in the RSS yet.

Anyone know Kevin's status for tonight? I sure would like to get him back into my fantasy lineup this week.

While again leading the KF official league, even without Kevin active, I just decided to leave him inactive this one last week -- he is just icing. ;)

im the last in my league in the fantasy because of Tony parker, Kevin Martin and Monta Ellis not playing. but they better watch out as soon as these guys starts to play...

I go along with HighTopKicks logic on this one. The Mavs on the 29th. Cisco is another story. My SWAG is mid-Dec.

5-12 DAYS?? ive had sprains and came back the next day to play.

Kevin Martin (sprained ankle) appears to be getting close to a return.
The Kings shooting guard tested his ankle on Monday by shooting pull-up jumpers and running off screens, and reported a small amount of pain, but said, "I can play through a little pain." Added coach Reggie Theus, "he's not that far out." Nothing is official yet, but it sounds like there's a solid chance we'll see Martin before the week is out.
