I think we owe it to this man to get a statue of him erected at the new Arena.

Not sure how it works but I think he deserves it and it should happen.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, Mayor Johnson!!!!

Maybe one of his ties should be retired in city hall. ;)

Talk about a clutch player! Certainly has to go down as one of the clutchest players in Sacramento Kings history! :)

Thank you! Personally, I think "Johnson Arena" has a nice sound and would be a fitting tribute.

It's not already?? Dude was a legit NBA player. But an even better Mayor. I suggest that his number should go in Sac High's rafters.

It's retired @ Sac High, but I want it in the rafters of the new arena!

KJ was a champion player and he is a champion mayor!

Bottom line: He is just a flat out champion! Thanks KJ for keeping the Kings in Sacramento!

Once this thing is built his Sac High jersey should hang from the rafters at the new ESC - and I am not even kidding.

Way to take it to the rack KJ!

Ummm....can a brutha get credit for the original idea being mine? Just sayin...

Can't really put into words how I feel about KJ. I've no doubt that had any other person been mayor when the Maloofs filed last year, this team would be gone. He's going down in the history books as the guy who did what matters instead of talking about it, and that's called getting it done.

Love the idea of naming the arena after him. Unlikely to happen, but "KJ arena" has a nice ring to it!

KJ Arena....

Kendall Jackson Winery in Sonoma?
Kennebec Journal?
KJ Country Radio?

Hey, I'm trying!

He is truly the greatest Sacramento King...and he never played a minute for the team. He is THE KING. He has my vote for as long as he wants to be mayor....or any other job he wants. Well done Mr. Mayor! none of this would have happened wothout him being the catalyst.

I'm thinking KJ court might be more within reach.
