Of all the dumb things I've seen this franchise do over the years, trading Keon Ellis might be the dumbest. Scott Perry could have signed him to a new deal over the summer but made signing 32 year old journeyman PG Dennis Schröder to a 3 year deal his priority instead. Ellis is a career 42% three point shooter and tied with Sabonis for the best defensive rating on the team the past two seasons yet Doug Christie continues to play him starter's minutes only as a last resort. Keon and Keegan should be the foundation of this team for the next decade but we're just going to give this guy away for a pick in the 20s (most likely) and hope the fans aren't paying attention? Why? Because we're thrilled that we actually have a player other teams are calling us about for once? Everyone in this front office deserves to be fired over this.
