According to this article the Kings have some interest in Flynn.
I would love to see us pick up Flynn with the 4th pick. In a league where you can no longer hand check a guy i think its going to be hard to keep a player as quick and athletic as Flynn from getting where he wants on the floor. What i like most about Flynn is that he takes advantage of his ability to penetrate the ball and goes to the basket hard, which along with his athleticism allows him to finishes around the basket at a high rate despite his size. His mid range jump shot is solid and he has a quick release, although he will need to extend his range at the next level. At this point Flynn is at his best as a scorer and i believe this will translate to the next level from day one.
As a play maker Flynn is still a work in progress. I thought he showed a lot of improvement in this area over last months and a half of the season. He has good vision and is a creative passer he just needs to make better decisions with the ball at times. He stopped going for the home run plays as much late in the season, which is a step in the right direction. He also got more comfortable penetrating and kicking the ball outside towards the end of the season. Flynn has always been solid as a play maker while running the pick and roll and out on the break. I doubt he ever becomes a elite distributor but i think has the potential to become a well rounded point guard.
In my eyes he is the best of the college point guard crop. I would be interested to hear what other people think of picking him considering most draft sites see him as more of a late lotto pick.
