I just read about the accident involving John Kerr in the Bee. I didn't know him well, but had the pleasure to meet him a couple times and went to a concert with he and some of his group of college friends back in the early 90's. I lost touch with him, but was saddened to see that he was hit by a car while in his wheelchair in Midtown this past weekend.
Why am I posting this here? John is a huge Kings fan and sports fan in general. I am curious if anyone on here knows John. Even if you don't, please keep him in your thoughts. Evidently he has worked hard to help others the past few years by being a major fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy. He could really use our best wishes and prayers right about now. Get well John!
