Jason Terry at practice facility

“I wouldn’t say it’s rebuilding, but a building process,” Terry said. “DeMarcus Cousins a huge talent. Attitude, a little shaky. Rudy Gay, not a proven winner in this league but a tremendous talent and a guy you can build around

Until he really says something about really wanting to be part of our team, and part of getting us to the playoffs, Jason Terry can rot on the inactive list until we trade his ender in Feb, or if one of our young SG's has an injury
Its not our team trying to unlearn anything, its about Jason Terry's own public comments

To be fair, that article is from July 15. Remember what Chris Webber had to say about Sacramento when he was first traded? (And NO, I am not comparing Terry to Webber - just reminding people that the perception of Sacramento changes for players once they actually get here.)

I tend to agree with bajaden. If Terry ever actually plays in a Kings uniform (which I'm still not convinced will happen), I'm sure he'll put it all out there on the court. There's no evidence to prove he would do any less.

I'm actually in agreement as well.

The faith I have in Vivek may be irrational... but that's kind of the definition of faith. I just have this sense that due to the vision he has for the team it would inspire players like Terry to be part of it. Now he may well end up being dealt, no problem, but he does seem like he is the type of player we could use, an element that would fit: vet, championship experience, excellent shooter, smart player, team player. If all that can come with him buying in... let's see what he can bring to the table, and if it works, talk about a cheaper contract next year.

This is all probably a futile exercise anyway, as we probably won't resign him. But I really just don't see him being the pouty diva during his time here. Hell, he's in California baby!

Various tweets and rantings seem to indicate he may be interested enough to get to a known playoff team that he will enable a reasonable buyout for the Kings to release him. Good for both sides as I see from the desert.

BTW am attending Kings@Suns 7 November as its only 4hr drive now.

All I remember from Terry last season was Vasquez blowing by him effortlessly, him getting mad than proceeding to flop on a elbow than afterwards acting tough and costing the Nets any momentum they had against us.

Different time, different team.
